McHughTEA Room Catering Information
Hosting an Afternoon Tea (sometimes referred to as “High Tea”) at your home, office or other location? Are you
looking to serve a variety of delicious, traditional Afternoon Tea style foods without the hassle? McHughTEA Room
can meet all of your menu needs for a customized tea party to fit your special occasion. Tea sandwiches are cut into
shapes reflecting your theme. Imagine, bread cut into the shape of a onesie with a dark rye duck inlayed in the center
for a baby shower. Hexagon cut wheat bread with a dark rye “wedding ring” shaped inlay is perfect for a bridal shower.
How about a heart shaped sandwich with a smaller heart in the center to celebrate ANY occasion? We’re all about
creating a memorable experience. Let’s create the perfect party together!

We offer FREE delivery within 4 miles of McHughTEA Room in Bellaire (Monday – Friday, 11am – 4:30pm). Please confirm

Size of rectangle tray is ~12”x18”. Food is not arranged on trays. All food selections are placed in pastry boxes to maintain their
freshness and secure them for travel.

Afternoon Tea To-Go is a chef inspired menu served with 3 tea sandwiches
(Cucumber, Pimento Cheese & Chicken Salad), 3 mini desserts (Lemon Bar,
Brownie Bite & mini cupcake) and 2 flavors of scones with strawberry jam,
clotted cream and lemon curd.
You may select one 2-oz bag of loose leaf tea per Afternoon Tea To-Go from
our selection of over 60+ organic teas (Up to $19 value, excludes matcha flavors).
No food substitutions, however, we will accommodate for food allergies such
as celiac disease. Unfortunately, we’re unable to produce a vegan afternoon tea.

To-go carriers hold 128-oz which gives you 16, 8-oz glasses or 21, 6-oz tea cups. Carriers are not insulated. Full tea descriptions of tea

McHughTEA Room Catering 2022 Agreement
Payments and Deposits
A deposit of half of the total order is required for McHughTEA Room to begin to prepare your order. A credit card can be
taken over the phone and an email receipt will be provided immediately following the transaction. Initial Deposit is due
once order is confirmed by McHughTEA Room Staff. Remaining balance is due upon pickup date. Any menu additions
needed after the deposit will be a separate charge and due in-full, at time of request.
Cancellations and Refunds
If you give McHughTEA Room a written notice of cancellation of this Catering Agreement more than 1+ week prior to the
event date, McHughTEA Room will agree to cancel this Catering Agreement. McHughTEA Room will refund any deposit
minus a 7% credit card processing fee imposed by credit card companies. Cancellation requests less than 7 days of the pickup
date may not eligible for refund.
Taxes
In addition to the contract price, you will be charged and responsible to pay all applicable state and local taxes. If you are a tax-
exempt company, the tax-exempt form must be emailed to info@trueleaftea.com with the Catering Agreement prior to
deposit.
Service Staff
If you would like service staff to accompany your McHughTEA Room catering order on a Monday-Thursday, please
contact us for availability. Pricing starts at $40/hour/server (minimum 3 hours). This includes set-up, service, break-
down and clean up. McHughTEA Room is unable to provide service staff on weekends (Friday-Sunday).
Additional Charges
McHughTEA Room charges delivery fees for all drop-offs and/or pick-ups, based on the distance of the event from
McHughTEA Room. Delivery/Pickup details on Page 1 of the Catering Agreement.
