Clubs HAVE YOU JOINED THE Our next planned social event for members is in June, on the Beach. “FUN IN THE SUN” Beer and Brat Boil with Music and Fun SAILING ASSOCIATION YET? Activities. We are hopeful the LBS marina will open as scheduled on Satur- day May 23rd. If so, our first sailboat race day will be Sunday May 24th at 1:00pm. On race days the pontoon boat is reserved at 5:00 for an evening of appetizers, drinks and camaraderie. “Sailing For Fun” will take place every Saturday from June 6th through September 12th starting at 12:30pm. Members provide sailboat rides and instruction for interested LBS residents. Membership is only $30 per year which includes: Sailing will return and so will the LBS Sailing Association with -10 sail boat race days social events aplenty and sailing, too. Actually, the majority of -10 evening pontoon boat cruises our club are social only members. We have GREAT social -15 “Fun Sail” days where you can learn how to sail activities. Golf SHORESMEN LBS 9 AND DINE GOLF LEAGUE MEMBERSHIP 2020 The 9 and Dine Golf League is a group of residents and non- residents, who get together one Friday a month and play 9 or 18 holes of golf, followed by cocktails and dinner. The league is open to all golfers—we will pair you up if you do not have a group, and you sign up and play when your schedule permits. The league also has a Social Membership, which allows the non-golfer to join us for cocktails and dinner and participate in all social functions. So if you golf and your spouse does not, the non- golfing spouse can join you later for dinner. If you’re single, please join the group for golf and social...a great way to meet people. When: Fridays starting May 15, 2020 & then the following dates 6/12/2020, 7/31/2020, 8/28/2020, 9/18/2020 Hope this finds everyone healthy and ready to play!!! The Women’s 9 Hole Golf League opening day of golf, planned for April 30th, was cancelled and the start of the season is now targeted for Thursday, May 7th—if the golf course is allowed to open and the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
