Father Terry Brennan He joined the staff at Marquette University High School in 1993, working mainly as a Spanish It is with great sadness that we tell you of the teacher. passing of Father Terry Brennan, S.J.. Father Terry passed away surrounded by his family. About a year ago, we were informed that Father Brennan was diagnosed with Stage IV Glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer. Unfortunately, surgical intervention was not an option. Fr. Brennan elected to fight this cancer aggressively with a combination of radiation and oral chemotherapy. His treatment focused on maintaining his quality of life, and gaining length of life. Fr. Terry had said the Easter Rising Mass for the majority of the past fifteen years for the Shamrock Club.
