ABOUT THE UNCLAIMED PROPERTY PROFESSIONALS ORGANIZATION The Unclaimed Property Professionals Organization (UPPO) is the premier organization for unclaimed property education, networking, and advocacy. It was established in 1994 and has since grown to approximately 420 corporate members and reaches more than 1,500 unclaimed property professionals. Members represent a wide spectrum of industries, including banking, financial services, insurance, nonprofit, unclaimed property service providers, among many others. UPPO is the voice and sole organization for unclaimed property holders and the companies that provide services to holders. UPPO SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM UPPO’s Scholarship Program was established in 2012 to assist UPPO members and members’ dependents who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. Two renewable scholarships are awarded each year to a deserving applicant attending an accredited institution of the student’s choice. To fund the scholarship program, UPPO hosts an event at the annual conference.
