MEET THE CAST LISA CASH (Aunt March) is making her CTC debut and is thrilled to play the formi- dable Aunt March. Recently returned stateside after eighteen years abroad, Lisa is a happy, grateful wife to the very sweetest husband and dad GOAT, mother to four teenagers, and a teacher at Cleveland High School. Her first big role was as June in a high school production of Sondheim’s Gypsy, which was very publicly boycotted by most of the churches in her hometown. A radical convert to the theatre in just the last few years, Lisa’s recent favorite roles include Mindy in Five Women Wearing the Same Dress and Rosie in Mamma Mia, for which she won U.S. Army Entertainment Toppers Awards in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Lisa is also an aspiring novelist, playwright, and screenwriter. JAMIE GIENAPP (Father & Others) returns to the CTC stage after appearing most recently in Working (MVP Award) and Lobby Hero. He made his CTC debut in Mary Poppins, where his turn as George Banks won him honors for Best Sup- porting Actor and Best Debut Performance in a Musical. Jamie works with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and enjoys woodworking, weightlifting, CrossFit, and sports. Other aspirations are to study dance. He would like to thank his wife, children, family, and employer for their support so that he can pursue his passion for theatre. JESSE HEADRICK (Professor Bhaer) was born and raised in Ringgold, Georgia, and recently joined the CTC staff as the scene shop manager and master carpenter. He has acted on his local church stage and made his CTC debut as Delmount Williams in The Miss Firecracker Contest. He served as stage manager for the Notorious Cast in our production of Vintage Hitchcock. Jesse loves singing, sports, hiking, garden- ing, reading, and writing. ANDREW HODNETTE (John Brooke) is making both his CTC debut and his acting debut in Little Women and thanks his wife, Grace (who appears as Meg March), for encouraging him to audition. He works at U.S. Xpress and enjoys running (both roads and trails), hiking, camping, and reading. His other aspirations are to learn new skills and experience a new part of life! GRACE HODNETTE (Meg March) is making her CTC debut but has previously appeared as Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Patience in Patience, Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, and Jan in Grease. She has a vocal performance and music educa- tion degree from Auburn University and is the music specialist at Yates Primary. She enjoys travel, event planning, hiking, and reading and looks forward to getting involved in the Chattanooga music and arts scene. She would like to thank the Little Women cast for being so welcoming and becoming like family. EMILY JAMES (Young Meg) is a senior in high school at Georgia Connections Acad- emy and plans to attend Covenant College in the fall. Her major will be elemen- tary education with a minor in theater. She has been in two previous CTC shows, Peter Rabbit and Mary Poppins. Some of her hobbies include playing electric gui- tar, spending time with friends, and driving. This has been one of Emily’s favorite productions she has been in because of her wonderful castmates and how much she relates to her character. This may be Emily’s last show before she graduates so she has loved being in a show about growing up and becoming an adult. Thanks for coming to see the show and thank you to the CTC family for making this show a wonderful experience.
HAYLEY LEWIS (Young Beth) is proud to be a part of CTC’s production of Little Women as Young Beth. She is graduating from STEM School Chattanooga this year and plans to major in psychology at UTC. Hayley has performed in sever- al CTC productions, including A Charlie Brown Christmas (Lucy) and A Wrinkle in Time (Meg). “We’re family here,” she says, “and the bonds we’ve created are ones we will never forget. Little Women is a timeless story, and we bring it to life on the stage.” She would like to thank her friends and family for their undying support, and she is excited to see what the future brings. JOANNA LEWIS (Mrs. Kirk & Others) is so thankful to be performing on the CTC stage again. She has been performing in local theater in Chattanooga for over fifteen years and this show has been a real favorite. She would like to thank not only the cast and crew for all of the enthusiasm and joy that they have brought to this story, but also Scott Dunlap for the opportunity to help tell it. She would also like to thank her AMAZING husband for holding down the fort at home, and her two beautiful little girls for reminding her every day why the love between mothers, daughters, and sisters makes these stories so important and everlasting. BLAINE LINDSEY (Laurie) is a graduating senior at UTC with a degree in chem- ical engineering and a minor in theater. This is Blaine’s first time working with the CTC, and he has thoroughly enjoyed his time. At UTC Blaine has played roles such as Skimbleshanks in CATS! and Valere in Tartuffe. Blaine would like to thank all his family and friends who have supported him throughout his theatrical escapades. KATIE LOVE (Jo March) is making her CTC debut but appeared previously in Pippin (Company) at Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre in Carmel, Ind., Urine- town the Musical (Soupy Sue) at Vincennes University, and Godspell (Joanne) at First Baptist Church, Vincennes, Ind. She works at WorkHound and enjoys improv, writing, road cycling, rock climbing, gardening, and traveling. She would like to thank her husband, Nick, for all the love and encouragement and for playing all of the roles of Little Women in her living room to help her prepare for the show. She would also like to thank her friends and family from near and far who are here to share in the joy and depth of this story and for everyone who continues to support the arts in Chattanooga. BETH McCLARY-WOLFORD’s (Marmee March) love affair with CTC began in 2012 (Annie) and she has spent the last 10 years (including at least 6 Christmas seasons) finding every opportunity to audition and volunteer. Best known for her role as Dolly Levi (Hello Dolly), Beth has performed in 18 CTC productions. During the “theatre shutdown,” she used her free time to start her own sales consulting practice and to take care of all the essential workers in her family—her husband, Jeff Wolford, Lt. Colonel in the Georgia National Guard, her oldest son, Kristopher Hunsucker, Food Service Management at Drake’s, her daughter and son-in- law- Mary and Cody Sims, ICU/COVID nurses at Erlanger, and her youngest (by 10 minutes), Benjamin Hunsucker, educator at Signal Mountain Middle School. Beth says, “Years ago I gained a best friend at CTC who also happens to be one of the best mothers I have ever met. She has dressed me for so many memorable performances not just on stage but in my life. She always helps me see the humor in life and importance of forgiveness. She loves me with all of my imperfections and makes my world a better place. Marmee March is my gift to my sweet friend, Vena Champion.”
MARK OGLESBY (Mr. Laurence) is appearing for the 26h time on the CTC stage, beginning with Mame in 1981 and most recently in 9 to 5. He counts it a privilege to have shared this stage with so many special and talented people, including both his wife, Arden, and their daughter, Corinne. Favorite roles include the Cowardly Lion (The Wizard of Oz), the Baker (Into the Woods), Hysterium (Funny Thing…Forum), and Neville Craven (The Secret Garden). Professionally, Mark performs in a sales role for Armstrong Relocation. GEORGIA SHARP (Young Jo) is delighted to make her CTC debut in this produc- tion of Little Women. A musical theatre major since sixth grade, Georgia is a junior at the Center for Creative Arts. She was most recently seen as Kim Mac- Afee in Bye Bye Birdie at the Signal Mountain Playhouse, for which she was awarded Best Supporting Performer in a Musical by the BroadwayWorld 2021 Regional Awards. Notable former roles include Marian Paroo in The Music Man, Jr. (CCA), Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Jr. (Nolan Drama Club), Veruca Salt in Willy Won- ka, Jr. (CCA), and kids ensemble in Footloose (CCA). She has studied voice with local instructor Christine Hassevoort and Lizzy Hinton of the Michael Karl Studio in Atlanta. Georgia would like to thank her family and friends for their endless support of both her and her craft and her instructors for their valuable guidance. She is grateful to the cast and crew of Little Women for making this an incredible show and experience. Enjoy the show! ANNA TAYLOR (Amy March) is making her CTC debut and performing for the first time in over a decade. She has a B.A. in theatre from Loyola University Chicago, and her previous roles include Snoopy in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Esther in Meet Me in St. Louis. She is a youth librarian and serves on the 2022 Caldecott Committee, as well as co-creator of Instagram’s Silent Reading Party and Director of Education & Outreach with Obvious Dad. She dedicates her performance to her sister Audrey. LIBBIE WEAVER (Young Amy) is so excited to join the cast of Little Women! She is a 7th grade musical theater major at Center for Creative Arts. Previous CTC credits include A Charlie Brown Christmas (Sally), The Wind in the Willows (Mole, Assistant Director’s Award), and Matilda: The Musical (Matilda Worm- wood, Volunteer Award for Outstanding Debut Actress in a Musical). Other recent credits include Seussical Jr. at CCA (Gertrude McFuzz), Shrek Jr. (Story- teller/Rat Ensemble) at CCA, and The Big One-Oh at Christian Family Theatre (Jennifer Mobley, Christi Awards for Best Newcomer and Best Supporting Actress). Outside of theatre, she enjoys dancing, especially acrobatics. Libbie hopes you enjoy the show! DARRAH WILKINSON (Beth March) is excited to be making her CTC debut. She had been heavily involved in theatre in the community for over a decade and has loved venturing into a new avenue of that community. While she has per- formed in many shows locally, the most notable are as Sandy in Grease, Jenny Hill in Big Fish, and Aquata in The Little Mermaid. The rest of her free time is happily spent with her husband and 2-year-old. Get our newsletter! Sign up at TheatreCentre.com
