Facilities The Tournament Capital Centre (TCC), located right next our classrooms, is an outstanding world-class sports centre with an Olympic-size pool located in the aquatic centre, that was built for the Canada summer games in 1993, along with indoor NBA standard basketball courts, a six-lane running track, exercise training rooms and gymnastics facilities. Our students will never be short of things to do during the school day, after school or on weekends. Students also have use of TRU's two libraries on campus and some other campus facilities, such as the campus theatre. Housing MLWS-TRU offers excellent dormitory living for students in East Village. The dormitories are only steps away from the TRU campus, as well as from shopping and restaurants. The dormitories are spacious, with room for four students. Each student has a separate bedroom and there is a common area with a kitchen and a bathroom that the four students share. There is a second bathroom in the common area as well. Student dormitories are located on the first, second, third or fourth floor of the dorm buildings. MLWS-TRU staff and East Village management oversee the dormitories around the clock. Meal Plan For all MLWS-TRU students, lunch and dinner (Monday to Friday) is provided at the school. These meals are catered locally and are planned to provide well- rounded and nutritious meals to the students. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated.TRU meal plan covers lunch and dinner five days per week, approximately 200 days over the school calendar year. 10 11
