“ TESTIMONIALS “I have grown in leaps and bounds since my enrolment for MAP, as an individual and as a professional. I am so proud of the person I have become – someone who pursues her own goals by engaging with the executive leadership including the CEO directly. Never in a million years would I have done that prior to MAP, and I believe the best is still yet to come. Not only have I become strategist but I have also become an effective implementer showing my principals that no task is too great nor too complex for me to tackle and devise a solution. The critical skills I acquired during MAP have empowered me to take on challenges, no matter the magnitude. And, thanks to my lecturers during MAP and particularly my coach who inspired me, I am determined to pursue my MBA.” — Theresa Stewart, MAP Part-time, 2017 “MAP was a great introduction to the commercial side of the business for a health professional like myself. I am now able to identify and leverage synergies between my department and others in the organisation I work for – my decisions take into consideration the impact on the organisation as a whole. Because of the diversity and calibre of its students, WBS has helped me increase my network and I have recommended MAP to a number of my colleagues. It was an investment worth more than the rand value of the course – and motivated me to do my MBA!” — Pumza Mokgehle, MAP Part-time, 2016 “I found the course to be highly beneficial because although there was a strong theory foundation, the coursework and class engagements were extremely practical in nature. Lecturers were not only academics, but were also still involved professionally as either management consultants or specialists in their fields. Class debate was robust and socially relevant, taking into consideration both the current SA, and broader global business and leadership landscape. Syndicate work also ensured that all students worked effectively as a collective, contributing to not only their individual learning, but also to their syndicate overall. I was also happy to see how many of my classmates were promoted because of their enhanced value within their organisations.” — Darryl Grater, MAP Part-time, 2015
