PARKING / ROAD CLOSURES We’ll propose an improved plan for road closures and parking restrictions, based on what we learned from 2018. Main Aims: Use of Road Closure signage, resident access permits scheme and stewards to deter non-resident vehicles parking in streets around the event Time-limited road closure on Gunnersbury Lane (North & South from to North Circular to Bollo Road) to allow for safe egress. Key changes: Gunnersbury Drive added to the road closure/ resident access scheme Resident Access Permits distributed earlier - by 5th July 2019 Link on community website (from May) to request additional permits Stewarding improved - earlier start to stewarding operation, more back-ups, more robust stewards in key areas and better supervision and communication Traffic plans published on community website
