    CRAZY BUSY
DO BETTER WORK IN LESS TIME
Being more productive doesn’t mean working more hours: it means having a laser focus on the
tasks that matter and executing them without distraction. That’s not easy when people and
technology are screaming for our attention. The negative wellbeing impact of endless
connected working is obvious. We can’t have high-flying careers with under-performing brains
and bodies. Successful people juggle a fine line between being responsive and pushing back.
They know how to clear the ‘drag’ that clogs up most organisations, like pointless emails (300
billion are sent every single day), excessive meetings and over-collaboration. They stop
procrastinating, and work with intention. They say no. They have time to think. This session is
buzzing with new ideas and practical tools to get you off the Crazy Busy bandwagon for good.

Popular for all-hands conferences and away-days.

    CRAZY BUSY
    FOR LEADERS
MANAGING TIME AND ATTENTION IN YOUR BUSINESS
We’d never manage any other resource the way we use our time. When do you find time to
think strategically or do deep, focused work? Why is it so hard to get real work done in
reasonable working hours? Research tells us that we spend over 25% of our week on
‘organisational drag’ – activities that slow the workflow like excessive meetings, email, over-
collaboration, poor communication, and slow processes. That’s a wasted day each week.

This session will help you to clear the complexity and streamline the workflow. It will
give you practical tools to enable you, and your teams, to focus your time and attention
    intentionally.

    BRAINS, GUTS AND
    HIGH PERFORMANCE
    HOW TO THRIVE
Resilience is your ability to endure challenging situations and use them to build prosperity.
Our brains are our greatest asset. Neuroscience proves that a strong gut–brain connection
makes people more resilient to stress and to a range of mental and physical health problems.
24/7 demands mean many of us neglect this powerful brain/body connection. We wake up
tired and attempt to perform at our best without proper rest, refuelling, hydrating or
oxygenating. This fascinating session will give you strategies to take better care of yourself,
    manage your boundaries and thrive.

Suitable for all, particularly well-being events.

    WHAT’S NEXT FOR YOU?
Where do you want to get to in your career and what’s holding you back? Career success
comes when you flip your focus away from yourself and instead focus on the problems that
you, uniquely, solve for others. In this session we’ll have time to consider some big career
questions. How do you contribute? What are you aiming for and what’s important to you?
How will you bridge the gap between you and a high performer in the role you aspire to?
What are your blind spots? How do you sell yourself, without sounding obnoxious? This
session will help you figure all this out and give you the latest research on career strategy.

Essential for all, particularly rising star and gender network programmes and anyone
preparing for interview panels and appraisals.

    SPEED COACHING
COACHING IN THE MOMENT TO GIVE FEEDBACK
    AND BUILD CAPABILITY
Managers know they should communicate in a coach-like way, but most say they don’t have
time so it’s easier to tell. We are great at sharing positive feedback but less confident at
correcting performance or starting a ‘difficult’ conversation. Some managers actively avoid
what they perceive as conflict, allowing issues to escalate and moods to fester. This essential
session will show you how to coach in the moment. You’ll learn speed-coaching questions to
give feedback, address performance issues, get to the heart of the issue quickly, help people
to think for themselves and build trust with your team. You’ll be the best manager they’ve ever
    had.

Suitable for new and experienced managers and team leaders.
