New World of Work & LinkedIn New World of Work partnered with LinkedIn through LinkedIn Learning, which hosts Lynda.com video content LinkedIn created a crosswalk with the NWoW 21st Century Skills lessons to provide suggested next steps for learners and instructors to continue Practicing and building upon each of the “Top 10” 21st Century Skills Video courses are available at the Professional, Postsecondary, and Secondary education levels. Courses issue certificates that can be hosted on LinkedIn profiles along with skills lists & digital badges 19
New World of Work & LinkedIn Started with a pilot of 100 students in CC, high school, and immigrant/refugee programs to get a wide cross-section of learners In total, the students have accessed over 90 different courses and have watched 700+ videos Most popular “soft skills” videos watched relate to leadership/management, adaptability/change, communication, and e-ship Now for the 2018/19 academic year, all instructors using NWoW content can also have access to these videos for FREE for their students 20

Starting in Summer 2018, the NWoW team will be developing online versions of the 20 postsecondary skills modules that can be integrated into learning management systems. The lessons will still include interactive activities to promote peer-to-peer and instructor-to- student interactions. 22
