Greetings all. We have some information to share with you
                         this week.

Let Us Remember – First United Presbyterian Church,
                              Renovo, PA

It is with mixed emotions that we will be closing the church known as First
United Presbyterian Church in Renovo, PA. We would be honored to
have you join us in our last worship service on April 18, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
Let Us Remember - First United Presbyterian Church, Renovo, PA - Presbytery of Northumberland
As we have been doing, we will practice social distancing and wearing
masks.

If you cannot attend, we would appreciate your prayers as we move
forward.

We are so thankful for over 150 years of support through presence, gifts,
talents, and prayers. God has been so faithful to us.

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to
the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:42

                               Point A to Point B:
                               How to Get a Grant
How often have you been at a museum and noticed the small sign
beneath the exhibit "Made possible by a grant from the X Foundation?"
Or wondered how much grant funding some of your local charitable
organizations have received and questioned how they did it?

   Churches and religious organizations can
take advantage of many of these grant
opportunities, too. Let the Synod of the
Trinity help you learn how to plan and
write a successful proposal through two
workshops in April. Grant writing does not
have to be a painful process! Learn how to
imagine and dream your way through a
   winning proposal.

There will be time for Q&A and discussion
during each workshop, so bring your questions and wonderings!

Join us for one or both of the following workshops:

   April 19th, 6:30 - 8 PM
Point A Workshop: Hunting & Gathering the Right Puzzle Pieces
Let Us Remember - First United Presbyterian Church, Renovo, PA - Presbytery of Northumberland
Our Point A Workshop will help you learn how to jump start a relationship with
the grant-maker and develop a specific, meaningful, actionable plan for
     attaining the grant.

Grant proposals are often organized into distinct sections. We will learn about
each section and how to think through the process of determining, and getting
the puzzle pieces that each section needs to make your puzzle strong!

     April 26th, 6:30 - 8 PM
Point B Workshop: Putting the Puzzle Together
You've gathered the puzzle pieces, now it's time to put them together. Our
Point B Workshop will teach you the tricks of writing a great grant, one section
at a time, and what additions to add in order to make it shine.

The last portion of our workshop will focus on what to prepare for when your
grant is awarded, and how to keep your grant maker relationship successful.

Camp Krislund is asking all our churches to consider making
                                April 25 Camp Sunday

Director Josh Boyd sent this message:
The staff and board of Krislund Camp and Conference Center invite you to participate in Camp Sunday
on April 25, 2021. The purpose of this event is to inform your congregations that Krislund registration is
open for the upcoming Summer and to cover Krislund in prayer as we prepare for this extraordinary
year. Attached you will find a black and white flyer which can be used as a printed bulletin insert, a color
flyer which you can save and add to emails, online newsletters, websites, or social media sites, and a
few videos. The video titled "Thank you for Supporting Krislund" can be used during Minute for
Missions.

On Camp Sunday, we ask that you share these materials with your congregation and pray for Krislund's
staff, campers, and volunteers this upcoming Summer. Please also share that registration is open for
Residential, Day, and Family programs! We are currently working on additional resources for Camp
Sunday which will be shared on our website.

Thank you for your continued support of our ministry,
