GREETINGS FROM YOUR POTENTATE
Greetings Nobles,
Margie and I pray that you and your family and friend are doing well. We also hope that all were able to get out and
enjoy themselves this summer. I know it has been a busy summer for us all. 2021 is going by so fast and it is hard to
believe that there is just three months to go in this year. It seems it was just last month when I was installed Potentate
of Hadji Shriners. First, I would like to thank the Widows who attended the annual Hadji Widows Appreciation
Luncheon that was hosted by the Untouchables. We thank you ladies so much for giving us the opportunity to
express in a small way our appreciation for you. We hope you enjoyed the afternoon being with us as much as we
did being with you. We hope that you always remember you are still a part of the Hadji family and you are always
welcome at Hadji. I would like to thank the Untouchables Nobles and their Ladies for hosting this event, and all that
you do for Hadji. I am so proud to be one of you. Some of the Upcoming events are the Shriners Children’s Open in
Las Vegas, NV October 4th -10th. Hadji will be the first Temple to have a sign on a hole stating “Marshaled by: Hadji
Shrine Temple Pensacola Florida” thanks to Keith Goolsby and the volunteers from Hadji providing the Marshals
for Hole number 12. The Haunted House will be October 15,16,22,23,29,30 and 31. This is a good fund raiser for
Hadji and we all need to support it as much as we can. Invite your family, friends and neighbors to come out. If you
would like to see what you can do to help, get with Bobby Gean. On November 13, we will have the Steak Cook Off
Competition at Hadji. This is a new event and should be a good fund raiser also. We will have cooks coming in from
all over. Let’s show them some great Hadji hospitality so they will want to come back. If you want to volunteer get with
Mitch Esser. Please put these dates on your calendar and please plan on attending and enjoy the fun and fellowship
we share while supporting our Temple.
I hope everyone realizes the importance of membership. We need every noble working on membership every day
every hour. Remember if we want our fraternity to survive, membership has to be the number one priority. Please
attend your lodge often, help out when you can, tell them what we do for children while having fun. In closing, Margie
and I would like to thank everyone again for giving us the opportunity to serve the nobility as your Potentate and First
lady. It has been a great honor and pleasure, it has been an enjoyable, challenging and humbling experience. We
have met so many good Shriners and their ladies who have so much love for the fraternity and the children we care
for. We thank everyone for the support and kindness you have given us through the years.
Remember, LET’S HAVE FUN taking care of Hadji, LET’S HAVE FUN taking care of our children, LET’S HAVE
FUN in all that we do.
