Saturday, Autumn brings the Sacrament of Absence and leads to the October 20 Miracle of Transformation! Last Chance Transformation is defined as a thorough or dra- Harvey matic change in form or appearance. We see this in our season of autumn. We can learn a lot through the season of autumn about letting go. Joyce Rupp describes autumn as the season that ushers in the sacrament of absence. Absence can be a blessing, especially when we realize just how much our life Saturday, becomes cluttered with many things. October 27 What needs to be relinquished in your life? Are Music & there possessions that are weighing you down? Are Lyrics there “character flaws” that burden not only you but others you connect with each day? Is there anything you could surrender that would help you be a freer person? As the leaves become brilliant shades of yellow, orange and red we can’t help but marvel in awe at the beauty! Yet, we know this brilliant beauty is only for a short time before it fades away as each leaf falls to the ground. Take time in the days ahead to relish in autumn’s beautiful art of surrender. Spend time in your spiritual autumn. As you see the tree let go of its leaves, let go of whatever is burdening you – old habits that no longer serve you, perhaps feelings that bring heaviness to your days. Rest in the letting go with knowing a transformation is taking place. In Loving Rememberance Our faith tells us we must let go of ourselves to September 2018 have new life. Let your spiritual autumn become a nurturing source for new beginnings.
