Toby Adamson played his 300th career game alongside brother Toby and watched by mum and dad on Mother’s Day. The former Leigh East junior began his professional career with Salford and after making his first team debut in 2006 went to play 145 first-team games over the course of seven seasons. From there he moved to Halifax with 47 games from 2013-2014 and he then clocked up 58 games at Dewsbury before making 16 appearances for Oldham in the second half of 2017. In 2018 he played 25 games for Rochdale Hornets and his nine games so far for Leigh Centurions saw him reach the significant landmark last Sunday. Jonny Pownall, meanwhile, scored a crucial try on his 100th Leigh appearance as he closed in on 100 career tries.
