Renting at the U PRIORITY LEASING, APRIL 6-30, 2021 Priority-leasing is an early opportunity to rent a suite based directly off of the floor plans. Renting now allows you to secure your new home before leasing is available to the general public by committing to a suite prior to completion of construction. You get first pick of the suites and move-in availability. GENERAL LEASING, MAY 1, 2021 General Leasing opens to the public on May 1st. From June onwards, you will be able to view the suites in person; however, waiting for general leasing means your choice of suite will be limited to any remaining after priority leasing. WHAT IS THE RENTAL PROCESS? Step One: Make your selections. Get to know us! Flip through this information package to learn more about our suites, top-tier amenities, and community approach and decide on which suites are best for you. Step Two: Book your leasing appointment. Select the 'Click Here to Rent' tab below to secure your leasing appointment. At your meeting, we look forward to providing you with suite images and a virtual tour of the suites. If you would like to tour the U, in person tours will begin in June with general leasing. Suites will be rented on a first come, first serve basis. Step Three: Complete an application. Lease applications will be available to you at your virtual meeting with one of our friendly leasing team members. Step Four: Application acceptance. FAQs–Pets There are a variety of special people, places, and things that make where we live feel like home. For many of us, that special something is our pet. IS THE U PET FRIENDLY? Yes, the U is a pet loving building. We strive to create a community for pet owners and non-pet owners, establishing a friendly building environment for all. With this in mind, each suite can be home to either 1 dog and 1 cat or 2 cats. Please note that not all breeds or pets are suited for apartment living. If you have a dog or other type of pet, please let us know more about them as we want to make sure that both you and your pet will be happy at the U. HOW MUCH IS THE SECURITY OR PET DEPOSIT? Security deposits and pet deposits are each equal to half of the first month's rent. The security deposit and pet deposit are both one-time deposits that are held to cover any damage caused to the suite. Virtual walkthroughs of the suites have been created and can be provided to you at your leasing appointment. Once the building opens in June, we will be happy to arrange an in-person or virtual building tour. WHEN CAN I MOVE IN? Move-in times will be managed by our leasing team on a first come first serve basis. Once you book an available move-in time slot, you can count on us being there to greet you! Suites located on floors 2–8 can move in during the month of June 2021. Suites located on floors 9–14 can move in during the month of July 2021. Parking and storage lockers are available for rent on a month-to-month basis.
