Langports’ Unique Platinum Program If you are interested in learning more about Australia, studying English, and meeting like-minded friends from around the world, then this is the program for you. Our Langports Platinum Program is dedicated to 50+ students and is designed to maximise your time in Australia by combining English study, Australian culture and activities. From day one, you will feel part of an amazing experience, one that you will never forget!
About the Platinum Program This high quality program, combined with activities, has been specifically designed for mature students who wish to experience studying English whilst spending time discovering Australia and learning more about the country’s culture! About the Program Next Starting Dates & Prices Length of course - 2 weeks or 4 weeks The next Platinum Program starting dates are: At Langports Brisbane school Minimum age 50 years old (students in their late 40s Monday 8th January 2018 for 4 weeks | AU$ 4,250 can also be accepted) Recommended level - A2/B1 - Pre-Intermediate to Monday 8th January 2018 for 2 weeks | AU$ 2,250 Intermediate*, taking a pre-test is recommended Guaranteed to run Monday 22nd January 2018 for 2 weeks | AU$ 2,250 Maximum 10 students per class * Clients with a lower or higher level will be offered the option to join our UFO English program in the mornings and meet other 50+ students for afternoon & weekend activities. Program Content 15 hours of English per week, from Monday to Friday from 9am to 12.25pm Subjects covered may include - Australian Culture and History, Aboriginal Culture, Travelling in Australia, Australian Sports, Australian Wine, Australian Music & Movies, Australia’s unique wildlife. Activities - 3 afternoon excursions (Tuesday, Thursday & Friday), Friday lunch and 1 full-day excursion on Saturday, with your dedicated guide.

Depending on your preferences and objectives, choose from our Homestay Family or Deluxe Family options or professionally managed Student Apartments. We charge a $250 placement fee to organise your accommodation. Deluxe homestay – you will get a private bedroom and private bathroom. There is only one student per family. There will be interaction with the family over meal times and you will be included like part of the family. Breakfast and dinner are provided from Monday to Friday. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided on Saturday & Sunday. Arrival possible on Saturday or Sunday before the course starts. From AU $305 per week. Distance to school is from 30 to 50 minutes by public transport. Family homestay – you will get a private bedroom and share a bathroom. There could be 1 or 2 students per family. There will be interaction with the family over meal times and you will be included like part of the family. Breakfast and dinner are provided from Monday to Friday. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided on Saturday & Sunday. Arrival possible on Saturday or Sunday before the course starts. From AU $270 per week. Distance to school is from 30 to 50 minutes by public transport. Professionally managed Studio Apartment – you will get your fully-furnished private studio including a shower, ensuite bathroom, a kitchen (stone benchtop, cooktop, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, cookery and crockery), unlimited Internet and air-conditioning. A bedding pack & bathroom pack are also included. The studio apartment is cleaned every week by professional cleaners. From AU$529 per week. The studios are located 12-15 minutes’ walk to school. Hotel – Recommendations for hotel accommodation can be provided upon request.
