The program is designed to help move Delaware Health toward a 70% vaccination rate by the Fourth of July, a goal set by President Joe Biden. As the number of people who are vaccinated has risen and the weather has encouraged outdoor programs, the number of new cases and hospitalizations has dropped. A total of 108,681 cases have been reported among Delaware residents, and the seven-day average of total positive tests has dropped to 2.7%, down from 3.6% a week ago.
