WINTER 2021 JOIN US FOR THE START OF THE SEMINAR SERIES! On December 2, 2021 at 1pm, a representative from Morris County will be present at the Morristown Senior Center to discuss and answer questions about Medicaid. On December 9, 2021 at 1pm, a representative will give an overview of Medicare coverage. This presentation will be held in-person, but the speaker will be virtual. Registration is required for both presentations. Please contact the Senior Center at 973-292-6690 to sign up. Masks are required to be worn at all times. Transportation provided upon request.
WINTER 2021 ARE YOU IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE??? The Morristown Senior Center would like to introduce our new Senior Companion Program. If you are need of assistance with tasks such as: • leaf raking • snow shoveling • lawn mowing Or, if you would just like to be paired with someone for companionship, this program is for you! For those in need, The Morristown Senior Center will provide a volunteer to assist you with your needs. WINTER 2021 This year, in Lieu of the Annual Senior Holiday Party, the Senior Center will be offering a Holiday meal box to Morristown Seniors ONLY. Anyone interested will need to call our office at 973-292-6690 by December 3, 2021, as registration is limited. Included in each individual meal will be: - Sliced Turkey or Ham - Traditional Stuffing - Mashed Potatoes - Green Beans - Gravy - Cornbread - Personal Apple Pie Delivery of meal and special gift will take place the week of December 13th. All registered residents will be notified of the delivery procedure.
