A NEW CONCEPT BUILT ON SCANDINAVIAN
DESIGN AND DURABILITY
We have changed the concept of capsule coffee from one of the largest
polluters to a harmonious combination of Scandinavian design and
sustainability. Our machines are produced in stainless steel and with high
quality components for a long service life. If quality fails us, we will handle
the service to replace and repair to make the machine fully functional again.
Failing that, the machine is fully recyclable.
Our coffee is 100% organic, Fairtrade and packed in compostable
capsules made of plant fibers. But Zero emission is not enough for us,

this by planting trees through Vi-Agroforestry, an organization that
plants trees and fights poverty in Eastern Africa.

A SCANDINAVIAN STYLE ICON
Scandinavian minimalistic design was the main idea when the first sketches
of Sjöstrand’s coffee machine were made. Primary was the straight lines of the
machine. We added lever to add the experience of creating your own espresso.
The steel railing on the top is a design element that also makes it possible to place
a couple of cups on top, without the risk of them falling down during the brewing.
Old traditional Italian espresso machines have inspired our design we think its
