This product is called the "Quality Master" and we are introduce it as
a daily inspection gauge for the CMM. This product is used by many
Japanese automakers and including tier 1, tier 2 auto parts
manufactures. This QMT is a measure the dimension between the
center coordinates of each ring to find anomalies. Calibration of
spatial coordinates of all gauges is done by our company in Japan. I
think whether the abnormality management of the probe head stylus
is delegated to the worker, and if irregular occurs during work,
abnormality will not be revealed if there is no personal notification.
There is a possibility to judge the product of the correct dimension as
NG. Therefore, it is possible for other people to check outliers by
tracing data daily using this gauge. And, the act of measuring spatial
coordinates has the effect of being able to measure and judge with
the shape nearest to the product. We are as a manufacturing
company, feel the need for this product. And, the QMT has another
feature. It uses low thermal expansion cast iron. The characteristic of
this material is that it is resistant to temperature change, has
characteristics of being difficult to aging, and realizes low cost. In
addition, the QMT has been traceable with the National Institute of
Standards and Technology "NIST", and since we have obtained NVLAP
certification, we are recommending it to as a reliable gauge.
