A look back...   Australia followed up their T20 World Cup win in 2021 with an
                 authoritative victory in the Ashes series, beating England 4-0 with
                 only the rain saving Joe Root’s men from a whitewash.

                 Kempton was the scene for one of the biggest races of the festive
                 period in hosting the King George VI chase. Last year’s Cheltenham
                 Gold Cup winner Minella Indo was in the field but didn’t sparkle like
                 he did in March.

                 It did however go the way of the Irish as Tornado Flyer sprang a big
                 surprise for the masterful Willie Mullins extending well over the last
                 to score by none lengths.

                 And it’s been a huge few weeks on the Betfair political markets with
                 numerous revelations at continuing to cast a shadow over Boris
                 Johnson – how long can he remain at number 10?

CRICKET
                                  LIVE SCORES API
We are pleased to inform you that the first phase of the Cricket Scores API feed is now
complete. We expect to launch the beta version this week.

The feed will be delivered in 3 parts:

Phase 1 - will give us the full functionality, but it will lack resiliency i.e., if we were to lose
connection to the feed, it will not automatically re-connect nor will there be information
delivered explaining the disconnection, it will simply stop working. This phase will now not
include market and selection mappings, so while it will enable us to test the full end-to-end flow,
it may not be suitable for live betting.

Phase 1a - will deliver selection mappings to the above. ETA is by the end of February.

Phase 2 - will give us resiliency mentioned in phase 1, at which point the API feed will be
Considered completed. ETA is late Feb/early March.

The underlying cricket feed historical data is still available so, please get in touch with your AM
or via BDP@betfair.com if you’d like access.

                     MARKET OFFERING CHANGES
Ahead of the pending T20 tournaments, PSL, CSA and IPL we will be making some changes to the
markets on offer by trialling some new additions. This we believe will add value to our
proposition and help us identify the markets our customers want to see on site.

We are adding fall of wicket lines along with more innings over lines. Our full trial offering will be
available for the CSA T20 and for the playoff stages of the PSL from 23rd February until the end of
the tournament. We will make some adjustments ahead of the IPL depending on positive
liquidity changes.

FOOTBALL
                      UEFA FOOTBALL FEEDS
As you may be aware, SportRadar have acquired the data rights to UEFA football. Until
further notice, we will be managing these games with a longer bet delay than normal.

Champions League and Super Cup:
  • All events will run with 7 sec bet delay.

Europa League:
   • For the matches that are televised on Sky or where big teams and UK teams
     (Barcelona, Napoli, Dortmund, Rangers) are involved, these will run with 7 sec bet
     delay.
   • For the rest of the games, all events will run with 9 sec bet delay.

Conference League:
  • All events will run with 9 sec bet delay.

Qualifiers/Nations League:
  • For the matches that are televised on Sky or where big teams (England, Germany,
      Italy, Spain, France) are involved, these will run with 7 sec bet delay.
  • For the rest of the games, all events will run with 9 sec bet delay.

U21 Championship, Women’s Champions League, European Championship Women,
Centralised friendlies:
  • All events will run with 9 sec bet delay.

NEW RELEASE
           BETFAIR HISTORICAL DATA PROCESSOR
 We are happy to share a brand-new product release in the shape of the historical data
 processor. This is a simple web application for converting downloaded historical data files to
 CSV format. This can be accessed here

Description
The application accepts file upload of BASIC/ADVANCED/PRO data files that have been
purchased and downloaded from https://historicdata.betfair.com/#/home

TENNIS
                TOURNAMENT OFFERING
An adjustment had been made in our offering for the ITF tournaments in Tennis
following an internal project to automate market management. We are now
offering 10 tournaments instead of the previous 5 on a trial basis. If we find that
liquidity is getting diluted due to the extra tournaments, we may roll back the
change but we’d welcome your feedback on how you think it’s performing.

                 WINTER OLYMPICS
The winter Olympics arrives in Beijing on Friday 4th February for 17 days of
exhilarating multi-sport events sure to set the pulses racing.

There are number of markets available and more to be added as the competition
