Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, you will be met
by andBeyond representative and assisted through customs and
immigration. You will then be assisted with check in procedures
for your onward flight.

Connect     with   your   Scheduled   flight   from   OR   Tambo
International Airport to Skukuza Airport .

An andBeyond member will meet you, and fellow guests, at
Skukuza Airport and drive you to andBeyond Kirkmans Kamp.
Conservation fees apply to all ages Adventure awaits during
your 3 night stay at andBeyond Kirkmans Kamp in a suite with
ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. Your stay includes
accommodation, three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines,

Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, South Africa
andBeyond Kirkman’s Kamp, with its spectacular views of the
unspoiled wilderness, is regarded as one of the best loved
lodges in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. It is a well-known
historic camp, originally built in the early 1920’s, and
celebrates the atmosphere of an early South African lowveld
homestead. The colonial atmosphere of gracious style and
luxury has been retained, and guests step back in time upon
entering the original homestead, which now houses the Lodge’s
sitting, dining and bar areas. Each of the 18 guest cottages has
a private veranda and is furnished in the same charming style
with ensuite bathrooms. The large sitting room, with a 1920’s
ambience, leads through double French doors onto rolling lawns
that provide a velvety contrast to the wild and tumbling bush
surrounding the Lodge. Breakfast and lunch are served on shady
verandas, and dinners are shared in the dramatic boma or in
romantic lanternlit bush settings.

Connect with your Scheduled flight from Skukuza Airport to

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met
by a member from our andBeyond team who will drive you to
Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa. As you drive toward the city, your
view from afar will be Table Mountain, one of the most spiritual
places on earth, with its heart, two oceans and the beautiful
city of Cape Town at its feet.

Day 7
Begin this scenic tour of Cape Town at iconic Table Mountain
or, if the weather is not favourable, at the flat-topped mound
known as Signal Hill. Browse vibrant Greenmarket Square, one
of the city’s oldest markets, and take a walk through Company
Gardens, established by Dutch settlers in 1652. Drive past the
Houses of Parliament and the historical Castle of Good Hope, as
well as the Slave Lodge, which used to house thousands of
slaves belonging to the Dutch East India Company. Next you will
visit the traditional Malay Quarter in the predominantly Muslim
Bo-Kaap, with its brightly coloured houses dating back as far as
the 17th century. Pause to listen to the firing of the noonday
gun from Signal Hill.

Day 8
You will be collected from Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa and
driven to Grootbos Private Nature Reserve Forest Lodge.

Depart Cape Town heading towards the seaside towns of Strand
and Gordon’s Bay, nestled below the slopes of the Hottentots
Holland Mountains, with magnificent views across False Bay to
Cape Point in the distance. Continue along the spectacular
Marine Drive overlooking this rocky coast, past the white
beaches of Koeël Bay and the villages of Rooiels, Pringle Bay
and Betty’s Bay. Drive over the Bot River to the charming village
of Hermanus, pausing in the picturesque Hemel-en-Arde valley,
whose cool, maritime climate favours the growing of pinot noir,
sauvignon blanc and chardonnay grapes, found at acclaimed
wine estates like Bouchard Finlayson, Hamilton Russell and
Whalehaven.Hermanus is known for its abundant sightings of
Southern right whales, which come in very close to shore to
mate and calve from June to November. There are excellent
vantage points from the cliff paths that run from one end of the
town to the other. Lunch at a popular restaurant in Hermanus,
browse the town’s craft markets and then head back to Cape
Town via the verdant apple-growing regions of Grabouw and
Elgin, with a final stop at the spectacular Sir Lowry’s Mountain
Pass for a panoramic view of the Cape Peninsula.

Indulge during your 3 night stay at Grootbos Nature Reserve at
Forest Lodge in a One Bedroom Luxury Suite with ensuite
bathroom. Your stay includes accommodation, breakfast,
welcome drink served upon arrival, water, soft drinks, tea and
coffee, minibar, fresh fruit daily in suite, light lunch, 5-course
dinner, horse riding for non- and experienced riders through the
reserve (please note that the weight limit is 90kg/198lbs per

Day 9
Depart on a Whale Watching Trip. Whales won’t be the only
things you’ll see on this unforgettable 2 hour adventure. Your
boat will launch in the quaint harbour of Kleinbaai, in Gansbaai,
and will make its way toward the Pearly Beach area which is
home to the Southern Right Whale. Afterwards, you will venture
towards renowned Dyer Island for excellent penguin and seabird
viewing, and then to Geyser Rock to view the curious antics of
Cape Fur Seals. Between these two islands lies the notorious
shark alley where you may be fortunate enough to view the
spectacular great white shark.

Day 10
Depart on a Shark Cage Dive. This adventure is ideal for thrill-
seekers and nature enthusiasts alike. Guests can experience the
excitement of being face to face with a shark, inside the
protection of a submerged cage. Your day begins early in the
quaint coastal village of Gaansbaai, at the Great White House,
where you can top up your energy levels, with a delicious
breakfast, for the days adventure. Safety is paramount guests
will sit down to a brief introductory talk with a marine biologist,
before being fitted with life-jackets. Snacks, soft drinks, wet
suits and waterproof jackets are included.
