Irresistible Italy! Rome, Tuscany, Florence, Venice with Women of Nebraska! WO M E N OF NE B R A S K A June 2-13, 2021 Tr a v e l S o l o To g e t h e r Dear Women of Nebraska, Ciao! Piazzas, Gondolas and the Tuscan hillsides, “oh my!” I’m Lora Black and I invite you along on a tour of Italy in 2021! Give yourself the gift of travel and immerse yourself in the Italian way of life. Join me and go back in time to where art and culture began - the birthplace of the Renaissance! Florence! That is day 5 of our tour, but first, let me tell you how our adventure begins… We start our journey by arriving in Rome for a 3-night stay and where we will follow the path of the ancient Romans. You will have the opportunity to try your hand at making fresh pasta and tiramisu-from secret recipes passed on for generations! While we tour the Eternal City, we walk, we eat, and we get to tour the famous Vatican museums where you will see Michelangelo’s Pieta that is housed in St. Peter’s Basilica. We make our way to the famous Sistine Chapel where it took Michelangelo four years to paint the frescoed ceiling. We are next on our way to the Tuscan region of Italy. The revered patron saint of Animals and founder of the Franciscan order, Saint Francis of Assisi’s birthplace will be explored, and we will spend our next four nights in the heart of Tuscany. Ah, Tuscany! Acres of Olive groves and vineyards provide us many tasting opportunities! Located a short drive away is Florence, the home of the Renaissance - which started here in the early 15th century. Don’t forget to shop the famous leather, Florentine paper, jewelry, and ceramic handmade goods that Florence is famous for. And take time out to “slow down”, grab a Gelato and just sit outside and watch the world pass by! Next, we are on to the Queen of the Adriatic; Venice, the floating city. A walking tour takes us to the legendary Piazza San Marco, St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, the Rialto Bridge, and we can’t visit Venice without taking a Gondola ride and a visit to the islands of Murano, home of glassworks, and Burano, the home of handmade lace. Reserve your place now for this fabulous trip to Italy. Hope to see you! Bellissima! Lora Black, Ambassador for Women of Nebraska Call Executive Travel’s Group Department today at 402-435-8888.
