Call your general practitioner and explain your symptoms. S/he will discuss any necessary further measures with you. Please don't simply go into the practice. Medical on-call services If your general practitioner is not available or you do not yet have one, the medical on-call services number is toll free and available 24/7 at 116 117. Questions and answers about your health insurance coverage with us: Does my insurance cover apply if I am infected with corona virus? Within the scope of our tariff benefits, our international health insurance protects you, as with other illnesses, also in the event of an infection with the coronavirus. The classification of coronavirus as a pandemic by the World Health Organization does not affect the coverage of a coronavirus infection. The classification also has no effect on the acceptance of your application. Please note that if symptoms and complaints of the disease have already occurred before you apply for insurance, this is considered a pre-existing condition and therefore cannot be included in the scope of benefits. What happens if I cannot start my (return) journey due to a quarantine situation? Since a quarantine situation does not constitute an illness, it is not covered by our insurance. 8
