A typical day… 06.00am – Wake Up 06.30am – Breakfast (bags packed) 07.00am – Briefing and depart Warm up and stretches Breaks, lunch, and regroups throughout the day “Always the stairs, never the escalator” Evening Camp 19.00pm – Dinner followed by evening briefing - ASPIRATIONAL - - AUTHENTIC - - PERSONAL -
Day 1/2: Fly London - Peru Meet your Discover Adventure crew at the airport 3 hours prior to departure, where we’ll hand out welcome letters & airline tickets when you arrive. Check-in together! Note: Make sure you are wearing your boots or have them in your hand luggage, and that your poles (if taking them) are in your hold luggage!
Day 2: Arrive Cuzco Morning arrival in Cuzco (already at altitude - 3400m) Transfer to hotel & time to explore! Trip briefing from your tour leader over dinner together that evening Night hotel
Day 3: Tambo Machay, Cuzco Acclimatisation day, 5 hours trekking Drive out to Tambo Machay, trek back to Cuzco! Night Hotel
Day 4: Begin Inca Trail - Wayllabamba Transfer from Cuzco to start trekking! Follow the Urubamba River Gentle climb to night camp at Wayllabamba

Day 5: Wayllabamba - Pacamayo 8 -12 hrs trekking – big climb! Dead Woman’s Pass 4200m Cloud Forest Night camp at Pacamayo, below the ruins of Runkurakay, 3500m
Day 6: Pacamayo - Winay Wayna 8 - 10 hrs trekking Second high pass at 4000m Descend to Sayacmarca ruin, 3600m, and on to Puyupatamarca Night camp Winay Wayna, 2640m
Day 7: Winay Wayna - Machu Picchu - Cuzco 3 hrs trek to Inti Punku, the Sun Gate Arrive before the crowds Guided tour – no rush, plenty of time to explore the site Train back to Ollantaytambo, return to Cuzco. Night hotel
Explore Cuzco…. Shopping… Day 8: (Option 1) Free Day in Cuzco Lunch and shopping Hotel Accommodation Celebration of our huge achievement!
Day 8: (Option 2) Rafting Transfer to river for day of rafting & back to Cuzco end of the day Lunch provided Hotel accommodation Celebration of our huge achievement!
Day 9/10: Fly Peru - London (Late morning flight back to the UK!)
Day 9 - 13: Amazon Rainforest Extension Flight to Puerto Maldonado, lodge accommodation Accompanied by DA crew or Peru local guide An amazing experience! Wildlife & scenery awaits…

ONESIE WALK Get your best comfy clothes on and do a walk in aid of charity. Alisia is a patient at Southampton Children’s Hospital. Together, with her friends she raised £625.
