Project status • 650 hectares planned area around the Svanstein Resort • Exploitation plan of 32 hectares for commercial activities, hotels, holiday homes and activity areas • Infrastructure completed in the area (roads, electricity, sewage) • Business Sweden, Swedish Agency for economic and Regional Growth and Invest in Norrbotten supports the project to attract foreign investors • Architectural drawings completed to rebuilt the existing main building to a hotel and for the construction of twelve conceptual houses for rental proposal • Development and investment plan developed for 2017-‐2020 and 2020-‐2025 • Professional operator for the Alpine product in place • Reinforced ownership in Svanstein Resort
Objectives 2020 • Svanstein Resort are to be profitable every season and all year around • 150 plots sold and built at the latest end of 2020 • 2000 available beds in the area in 2020 • New development areas to be planned in detail and ready for construction in 2020 • New lift capacity (chairlift) placed in service before the season 2020/2021 • Svanstein is a trademark as one of Europe prime year around activity resorts • Svanstein has a camping of high international class with access to activities around the mountain and on the water in all seasons.

Border crossing • First stop after Arctic Circle N crossing • Torne River is the actual border dividing Swedish and Finnish Lapland • Struve Geodetic Arc is crossing 10 countries and on the top of Pullinki mountain marks one of the locations Svanstein Struve Geodetic Arc Consists of 265 points in ten countries. The measurements were made between 1816 and 1855 under the supervision of the German-‐born Sweden Finland astronomer Wilhelm Struve (1793–1864) with the purpose of determining the shape of the earth. 34 of the 265 points are since July 2005 included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Four of these 34 points are located in the Swedish part of the Torne Valley.. S
