IHF ONLINE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2021 CLOSING DATE 30TH JULY LIVE VIRTUAL AWARDS NIGHT Sunday 19th September 2021 at 7pm COLOUR TECHNICIAN TREND IMAGE OF THE COMMERCIAL IMAGE OF THE YEAR YEAR OF THE YEAR SENIOR SENIOR & TRAINEE SENIOR NEWCOMER OF THE GENTS' FULL EDITORIAL TEAM OF YEAR FASHION THE YEAR TRAINEE
COLOUR TECHNICIAN OF THE YEAR – SENIOR Competitors must submit: -Before photo's of front, back & crown of model. - A full list of colour used. - A brief description of colour formula and technique used to create finished look. Completed image must be accompanied by a photo of the model's crown (as it’s all about the colour) Originality uniqueness and styles is key this category. No less than three different colours are to 2019 IHF Championship Entry by: Aisling Kenny be used in creating this look. TREND IMAGE OF THE YEAR – BOTH SENIOR AND TRAINEE This category is open to all Stylists and Trainees with a flair for predicting up-and- coming trends. Forget what won last year, we want to see what you think is going to be stepping out on 2022 catwalks. We want to see your creativity and imagination run wild and our judges inspired. COMMERCIAL IMAGE OF THE YEAR - SENIOR Competitors must create a glamorous look to appear on the front cover of a fashion magazine. Commercial, Premium, Wearable hair Competitors must submit before and after photo's of front, back & crown of model. 2019 Photographic Entry by: Sabrina Mooney NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR – TRAINEE Competitors must be hairdressing for less than four years to enter this category. Create a look that expresses the hairdresser you are. Show off your best skills and create a look that is true to you. GENTS' FULL FASHION Competitors must produce a look suitable for the front cover of a fashion magazine. Hair can be freestyle or classic look. Hair must have a minimum of two and a maximum of three colours – any type of colour can be used (other than spray on and chalk) Hair must be finished and styled to complete the look – all styling products allowed ie. waxes, gel, sprays etc. We are looking for fashion forward gents' styling. Competitors must submit before and after 2018 Photographic Entry by: Ciaran O'Dowd photo's of front, back & crown of model. PHOTOGRAPHIC - EDITORIAL TEAM OR INDIVIDUAL OF THE YEAR This MUST be a collection of THREE images These images must follow the SAME THEME - (competitor can pick their own theme) Competitor must submit three images that tells a story/ represents a journey 2018 Photographic Collection by: Team Tribe at Bellissimo
RULES Please read carefully All entries are in digital format only Entries must not be made public, including social media posts, until after the award ceremony on 19th September. Failure to comply will result in disqualification All Models must be live (no mannequin heads) A competitor can only enter one model per category Each model can only be used in one category All photographs can be taken either by a professional or on a smart phone Submissions open on Monday 28th June via the IHF website All entries must be submitted online on or before 12 noon on Friday 30th July 2021 Entries received after the closing date will not be entered into the competition See diagram below for example of varying angles required Front Back Crown Responsibility cannot be accepted for lost, damaged or delayed entries due to technical or connectivity problems or otherwise €20 per entry payable on submission 2019 Photographic Entry by: Katrina Kelly
AWARDS & TITLES IHF Irish Hairdressing Online Championship 2021 All competitors will be automatically registered to attend our Online Virtual Event on Sunday 19th September at 7pm* All of the individual category winners** will become part of the IHF Artistic Team and will partake in a Hair Show at our 2022 IHF championships All of the individual category winners will also receive a number of prizes including education from our Sponsors (details TBC) Final details will be confirmed closer to the event (based on Covid-19 restrictions) *to be confirmed **not including photographic Samantha Byrne - IHF Alfaparf Hairdresser of the Year 2019
