Fall on your knees Oh hear the angel voices Oh night divine Oh night when Christ was born Oh night divine Oh night divine Led by the light of Faith serenely beaming With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming Here come the wise men from Orient land The King of Kings lay thus in lowly manger In all our trials born to be our friend Truly He taught us to love one another His law is love and His gospel is peace Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother And in His name all oppression shall cease Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we, Let all within us praise His holy name Huncote Parish Council Page 5 of 25

The stars in the sky looked down where he lay, The little Lord Jesus asleep in the hay. The cattle are lowing, the baby awakes, But little Lord Jesus no crying he makes. I love Thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky And stay by my cradle 'til morning is nigh. Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask Thee to stay Close by me forever, and love me, I pray. Christmas carols from your doorstep (2020) The First Noel The First Noel the angel did say Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay; In fields as they lay, keeping their sheep, On a cold winter's night that was so deep. Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, Born is the King of Israel. They looked up and saw a star Shining in the east beyond them far, And to the earth it gave great light, And so it continued both day and night. And by the light of that same star Three wise men came from country far; To seek for a king was their intent, And to follow the star wherever it went. This star drew nigh to the northwest, O'er Bethlehem it took it rest, And there it did both stop and stay Right over the place where Jesus lay. Then entered in those wise men three Full reverently upon their knee, and offered there in his presence Their gold, and myrrh, and frankincense. Then let us all with one accord Sing praises to our heavenly Lord; That hath made heaven and earth of naught, And with his blood mankind hath bought Huncote Parish Council Page 10 of 25
Christmas carols from your doorstep (2020) Frosty the Snowman Frosty the Snowman, was a jolly happy soul, With a corn cob pipe and a button nose, and two eyes made of coal. Frosty the Snowman, is a fairy tale, they say. He was made of snow, but the children know he came to life one day. There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found, For when they placed it on his head, he began to dance around! Oh, Frosty, the Snowman, was alive as he could be; and the children say he could laugh and play, just the same as you and me. Thumpity thump, thump, thumpity thump, thump, look at Frosty go. Thumpity thump, thump, thumpity thump, thump, over the hills of snow. Frosty the Snowman, knew the sun was hot that day, so he said, "Let's run, and we'll have some fun now, before I melt away." Down to the village, with a broomstick in his hand, Running here and there, all around the square, sayin', "Catch me if you can." He led them down the streets of town, right to the traffic cop; and only paused a moment, when he heard him holler, "Stop!" For Frosty, the Snowman, had to hurry on his way, But he waved goodbye, sayin' "Don't cry, I'll be back again someday." Huncote Parish Council Page 11 of 25

Christmas carols from your doorstep (2020) It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Ev'rywhere you go; Take a look in the five-and-ten, glistening once again With candy canes and silver lanes aglow. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, Toys in ev'ry store, But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be On your own front door. A pair of hop along boots and a pistol that shoots Is the wish of Barney and Ben; Dolls that will talk and will go for a walk Is the hope of Janice and Jen; And Mom and Dad can hardly wait for school to start again. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Ev'rywhere you go; There's a tree in the Grand Hotel, one in the park as well, The sturdy kind that doesn't mind the snow. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas; Soon the bells will start, And the thing that will make them ring is the carol that you sing Right within your heart. Huncote Parish Council Page 15 of 25
