Principal’s Welcome Welcome back to Queen’s! We are so happy you are here in Kingston to celebrate Homecoming with us, and hope your weekend is full of time spent reminiscing with friends and creating new memories. I wish to extend a special welcome to members of the Class of 1969 who are now officially a part of the Tricolour Guard, which celebrates alumni who graduated 50 years ago or more. Whether you graduated a year ago or many decades ago, you always have a place here at Queen’s. I am thrilled to be back at Queen’s myself and am experiencing my own homecoming as I get reacquainted with the campus, people, and special qualities of this university. Over the course of Homecoming weekend, I hope you get a chance to revisit your favourite Queen’s and Kingston locations and partake in many of the activities you enjoyed during your time here as a student. It is important to thank the many volunteers and community partners who have worked hard to make this a memorable, safe, and cherished event for everyone. And thank you for your commitment to and love of Queen’s; your spirit and dedication are a large part of what makes this institution so beloved. Cha Gheill!
