This activity is designed to encourage communication between
participants. You will be given different themes to spark
discussions and memories with your group. You can read the
questions and sentences out loud, and then initiate a group
discussion.

   Were you or a member of your family a hockey fan?
   Did you used to play hockey in your driveway as a kid? With your
   friends at the park? Tell about what that was like?
   Did you ever play in a Ligue? What was your position? Tell me
   about your experience.
   Can you name players that impressed you with their skills?
   What was the name of the team you or your spouse always
   cheered for?
   Would you watch hockey games with your family? Did your
   family host “Hockey Night in Canada” for your extended family
   or neighbours?
   Have you ever been to a game? Can you describe how you felt?

Visual memories:
   Bring hockey gear: jerseys, foam fingers, hats, etc.

   Find pictures (old or current) of friends (kids and adults) playing

   hockey together.
