We a re a local hockey club that puts ath l etes a n d th ei r fam ilies first . Nashville Warriors Hockey Club was established in 2020 and has been sanctioned by the Southern Amateur Hockey Association (SAHA) in the Southeast District under USA Hockey. Our vision is to provide an elite performance training program in a positive and supportive environment that builds hockey skills, instills character, promotes integrity and enhances the sport of hockey for boys and girls. In addition to our hockey program, we will operate at our independent ice arena, the Nolensville Ice Arena. Our facility will encompass a state-of-the-art off-ice dryland training facility, a full sheet of ice, locker rooms and more. Our Leadership Group, Board of Directors and Advisory Committee include world-renowned professional coaches, and senior level business executives in the fields of law, business planning, finance, marketing, administration, sales and sponsorships. COACHES M A R T I N E R AT Director of Hockey Martin Erat is a former NHL professional ice hockey player originally from the Czech Republic. He is the Director of Hockey and Player Development for the Nashville Warriors as well as a Head Coach for the U10 program. Erat was drafted to the Nashville Predators 191st overall in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. He played 15 seasons in the National Hockey League: Nashville Predators (11 seasons), Washington Capitals (2 seasons) and the Phoenix/Arizona Coyotes (2 seasons), for a total of 545 points in 881 games. Likewise, Erat has also represented the Czech Republic in different international games including four Olympic Games where he served as captain in 2018. Following his NHL career in 2015, he played professionally in the KHL (Avangard Omsk) and for HC Brno in the Czech league from 2016-2020. Martin Erat and his wife, Vera, reside in Brentwood, TN with their three children,Sebastien, Victoria and Max. R YA N S M Y T H Director of Player Development Ryan Smyth, widely known as “Captain Canada”, is a former NHL professional ice hockey player for the Edmonton Oilers. Smyth played most of his career for the Edmonton Oilers, and was an instrumental part of Team Canada. He was especially known for playing in the style of a power forward. Smyth is joining the Warriors as the Head Coach for the U13AA (2008) team and will be assisting in the player development programming for all ages. Smyth played 15 of his 19 NHL seasons with Edmonton, and scored 296 of his 386 goals in an Oilers uniform. Edmonton selected Smyth as the No. 6 pick in the 1994 NHL Draft, and he made his debut with the Oilers on Jan. 22, 1995. By 1996-97, Smyth was a top-six forward for Edmonton; scoring a NHL career-high 39 goals that season, 31 goals and a NHL career-high 70 points in 2000-01, and 36 goals in 2005-06. Smyth represented Canada in international competition on numerous occasions and saw success. He won gold medals at the 1995 World Junior Championship, 2002 Winter Olympics, 2003 and 2004 World Championships, and 2004 World Cup. Having served as captain of Canada’s World Championship team for a team record six years (2001–05 and 2010), he earned the nickname “Captain Canada”. Ryan Smyth resides in Franklin, Tennessee with his wife, Stacey, and their four children, Isabella, Elizabeth, Alexander and Gabrielle.
COACHES ALLIE LaCOMBE Director of Girls Hockey Allie LaCombe is a former NWHL professional hockey player from Eden Prairie, MN. She is the Director of Girls Hockey, Assistant GM of Nolensville Ice Arena and will be the head coach for our girls travel teams. During her professional playing career, LaCombe most recently signed with the Connecticut Whale in the NWHL. Previously, she played semi-professional in the European league, EWHL, for the Vienna Sabers in Austria and with Almaty Aisulu in Kazakhstan. LaCombe played NCAA Division I at Syracuse University. LaCombe currently trains NHL athletes, AAA/AA boys and girls and NCAA players. LaCombe is a Level 4 USA Hockey Coach, a certified USA Hockey Director, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from Syracuse University. She is also a professional on-ice skills coach. Allie LaCombe is from Eden Prairie, Minnesota and resides in Nashville, Tennessee. NOLENSVILLE ICE ARENA Home of the Nashville Warriors Hockey Club Coming SUMMER 2021 The Nolensville Ice Arena is located in the heart of Williamson County in Nolensville, Tennessee, The arena is the home ice of the Nashville Warriors Hockey Club.
