Some vehicles make a strong statement. But nothing
says ‘raw power’ like the new Toyota Hilux Special
Edition. With searing new Orange Spice metallic paint,
a sleek new front bumper and an integrated 3D grille,
it looks like no other pick-up. Even the rear bumper
has been redesigned, to include a step for access to the
cargo deck. And with 18" 6-spoke, bi-tone machined-
face and grey alloy wheels, it’s one of the toughest
vehicles on the planet. Whatever the conditions, this is
a pick-up that doesn’t just mean business – it looks hot,

Even on the toughest terrain, you can count on the
famously reliable Hilux Special Edition to push, pull and go
almost anywhere. Featuring the latest in 4x4 powertrain
technology – including Hill-start Assist Control and
Downhill Assist Control – you can drive wherever you
need to drive, in total confidence. The 2.4 litre D-4D
diesel engine demonstrates excellent performance,
including outstanding acceleration, fuel efficiency and
minimal noise levels. With an updated frame, underbody
and suspension system, the strength and stability that
made the Hilux famous have now reached new levels. So
expect handling you can trust and the power to deliver.

The Hilux Special Edition is a pick-up with brains to
match its muscle – with Vehicle Stability Control (VSC)
and class-leading Toyota Safety Sense, comprising
three separate active safety systems: Pre-Collision
System* with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure
Alert and Road Sign Assist. Consider it seriously
safe for work and play. And with a redesigned body
structure made of HTSS (High-Tensile Strength Steel),
the Hilux Special Edition is as tough as it looks. To
ensure all cabin occupants are protected, it features
seven SRS airbags, while the side rails and the cross
members (the steel beams in the chassis frame) have
been reinforced and enlarged, to absorb even more
energy from impacts.

Toyota Safety Sense adds advanced active safety systems
for an even safer and more relaxed drive. Three active
technologies – Pre-Collision System* with Pedestrian
