Laws, Religion, and Politics – What freedoms can you expect in this country? – What are significant religious holidays? – What behavior is expected? – What are political customs expected to know? • 4. Customs and Background – What are the national sports? Sport heroes/heroines? – What attitudes toward education, gambling, religion? – What is the length of the expected work day? – Is certain color considered sacred, positive, or negative?
