The 24/531 Model From "Heart Centered Sharing"
Many of us came into Young Living simply because we loved the oils and other products. At some point, we realized that
we can help a lot of people with this modality and create an abundant income. We do this through sharing these
wonderful oils and oil-enhanced products with others and showing them how to do the same.

When we actively share with others, it's quite possible to enroll 2 people a month. We can hope that they will eventually
share, also. Or, we can practice teaching sharing - helping our downline members understand how to share with
friends and family and enroll them. This may include learning how to model duplicable sharing to our downline members.
Duplicable means easy to repeat, follow, copy or duplicate.
Why is this SO important? It depends on whether you would like to help a few people or a lot of people. The following
spreadsheet will clearly show the importance of duplication (which is people sharing with people, sharing with
people). This spreadsheet shows you what happens when you enroll 2 people a month for a year, as well as what
happens when you enroll 2 people a month for a year and they are able to do the same.

The difference in how many people you have helped and the size of your group at the end of the year, depending on how
you are introducing others, is quite astonishing! Statistics show that if someone has just ONE person in their downline,
they are twice as likely to order than if they have no one in their downline. And, of course, if they are ordering oils and
other products more consistently, they will, most likely, significantly improve their health and well being over time. It's a
beautiful win/win.

To review:

       * At any given moment in our business, we are either working toward the 24 or the 531,000.

      * We simply need to be aware of the difference, evaluate what we're doing, and make a conscious decision about
where we want to be at any given moment.

      * The 24 is when we're sharing or educating but we're not being duplicable. We may be acting as a health care
advocate for someone who is not feeling well and needs our help. This is perfectly fine. It's our choice.

       * The 531,000 is when we're sharing with and enrolling 2 people a month, and we're helping, teaching, and
modeling so that everyone can do the same. We do this is in a very heart-centered, helpful, and duplicable way.

       * We can all agree that not everyone we enroll will want to share with and enroll 2 people a month. By
consistently pre-scheduling as many follow up events as possible, it will make it much easier for them to do so.

       * Even if we fail by 95% that first year, we will still have over 25,000 people in our organizations!

At any given moment in your business, ask yourself whether you're pointing toward the 24 or the 531,440...

The Heart Centered Sharing System - an Overview

Getting Started Steps 1 - 2 - 3:

1. Share with people, help them decide what to order, and help them set up their accounts.

2. Help them share with friends and family.

3. Empower them to share with others without your help.

The difference between retail marketing and network marketing:

1. Retail marketing is selling products or services, including classes, health consultations, massage, Raindrop. ("24")

2. Network marketing is when people are helping people, helping people - creating a network. ("531")

3. How is network marketing different? Two truths:

        a. However you introduce someone to your products is precisely how they will introduce others.

         b. Network marketing requires duplication to function as a business model (the 24/531 model). Duplication is
people sharing with people, sharing with people - not a single person, teacher, or leader doing it all. When you add
duplication, your group will multiply!

The keys to your success:

1. Consistency - weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly duplicable intro events. (Holding inconsistent events does not work.)

2. Successful inviting to insure that you have 5-6 "very interested" guests brought by 3-4 YL downline members.

3. Being duplicable, including the presentation, and being "just another person in the room" and not an expert.

4. Personalizing each guest's order including lifestyle products and helping them set up their accounts, in front of the
group, with everyone watching and learning.

5. Having the next event scheduled and invitations printed and available at each event.

The five skill sets required for the success of your business:

1. Sharing & Listening

2. Personalizing and Enrolling

3. Communicating - Training and Support

4. Teaching and Modeling How to Share With Others

5. Leadership Development

Empower others to use and Share the Young Living Lifestyle through Duplication.

                                    Empower - Share - Lifestyle - Duplication

                                                             3
Heart Centered Sharing Events

Invite:

1. Invite enough people so that you will have 5-6 non-member guests, and no more than 5 people who are already
members, including yourself. This includes mailing invitations, email, and personal phone calls.
Order:

2. Order Product Guides, an Everyday Oils kit, NingXia Red samples, and Lavender Hand Lotion, if you don't already
have them.
Verify:

3. Follow up with phone calls to verify attendance. Keep inviting people until the event is filled. Over-invite by 1-2
people, as 1-2 guests may cancel at the last minute. If an event fills up, create another one
The day of the event:
4. Set up a display of the products that you can gather up from around your home. Keep refreshments simple and
duplicable - fresh fruit and water with lemon or tea.

At the event:

5. Give each person attending: a Product Guide, 3 handouts: Have a Great Day, Everyday Uses, and Gary Young
Wellness Model, an invitation to the next event so that they can come back and bring friends easily, and a pen and paper
if they want to take notes.
Be duplicable during the entire event.

6. With everyone sitting in a circle (including you), Hour #1 is an overview of the Young Living Lifestyle which includes
basic information about essential oils: Historical summary of essential oils. What are essential oils? Where do we get
them? Why is purity so important? How do we use them? Describing distillation helps them understand the cost and true
value of essential oils.

We cover the Young Living lifestyle - essential oils, Thieves products, supplements, NingXia Red, and personal care
because we know that when people use more products, they become healthier and happier. We explain how to save
money, over the long run, by using YL products and how these products replace what we're already buying so they're not
an addition to a current budget.

We finish with a 3 minute overview of how to order and get the best price. We discuss the Start Living kits, and how to
save even more money on Essential Rewards.

7. Samples: During the event, each person will apply a drop of each of the oils in the Everyday Oils kit, they will get a
NingXia Red sample, and they will use a small amount of Lavender Hand Lotion.

8. With everyone still sitting in a circle, Hour #2 includes "personalizing" with each guest to help them decide how to get
started and how to prioritize their order(s). People who are already members may contribute their ideas, also, which will
help them build their self-confidence about sharing. We help the guests set up their accounts, order, and set up their
Essential Rewards orders.

By allowing everyone in the circle to observe as we personalize with each guest and help them set up their
accounts, everyone attending becomes empowered to help others with various health interests.

Follow Up:

9. Call the guests who enrolled after they have received their orders to see if they have any questions. Remind them
about the next event and invite them to come and bring friends.

10. Continue to invite the guests who enroll at these events to each upcoming event. Each event always leads into
another.

                                                              4
Heart Centered Sharing Action Plan

The Plan - Steps 1 - 2 - 3 ("531" activities):

         1. Share with people, one-on-one, and in small groups. Help them decide what to order, and help them set up
their accounts. Stay in touch with them and educate them on our products and our lifestyle.

         2. Help them share with friends and family. Do it with them. Show them how. Encourage them to bring people
to your small events. By understanding the 24/531 concept, you will not just add people to your organization... you will
multiply your efforts.

        3. Empower them to share with others without your help.

How do we empower them? Be duplicable!

1. The foundation of this business plan: Commit to and set dates for holding highly duplicable introductory events
every month for two years to educate people about our products and launch new leaders. Launch process: People
come to an event, return with friends several times, and begin to have their own events.

        a. Learn how to invite people and follow up so that your events are well attended by "very interested" guests.

        b. Follow the timeline and outline (which covers the Young Living lifestyle) and add personal stories.

        c. Practice appearing to be "just another person in the room," and not an expert.

        d. Practice the skills of personalizing people's orders by focusing on their wellness goals. Help them set up
their memberships, orders, and Essential Rewards.

        e. Have the next event scheduled and invitations printed for each event.

Optional ("24" activities): After committing to #1 above, and implementing that part of the process, then
consider the following important events that will help maintain and support volume.

2. You may want to offer members-only trainings as often as is convenient, for a nominal fee. Possible Topics:

        a. More on oils - example: Raindrop

        b. Thieves (Back to School in the fall)

        c. Skin Care (personal care products, ART, etc.)

        d. Supplements (cleansing, building, and supporting the body)

        e. NingXia Red (ingredients and benefits)

        g. Business (how to share, how to build, comp plan, etc.)

        h. Post convention event

        i. Holiday potluck or Open House

Other great "24" Options:

3. Mail postcards for promos.

4. Conference calls - training and educating your downline.

5. Website with downloadable files and recordings.

6. Create and distribute newsletters, or other informational material.

7. Mail Seasonal Catalogs (in late fall), brochures, or new Product Guides when they are available.
                                                            5
