Now, with your help we can provide similar health services in regional Victoria, where there is an identified, urgent need. A needs assessment conducted by Cabrini Outreach in regional Victoria showed that there is a drastic shortage of primary health care services for people seeking asylum, which is why have established a new service in Shepparton. Through this project, Cabrini Outreach have identified a need for primary care in the Shepparton region, and are working to address this unmet need. One of the Health Hub clients spoke candidly about his lived experience and how the service has had a positive impact on his physical and mental health.
