Rooftops go green Urban farms have sprung up on rooftops around our city, bringing pockets of green above malls, community buildings and multi-storey car parks. With produce such as spinach, dragonfruit and eggplant cultivated on these rooftops, they contribute to Singapore's food resilience, plus inject some high-rise greenery to our cityscape! Enjoying green spaces safely These "hearts" are a new addition to the Discover Tanjong Pagar Community Green, a creative way to help visitors enjoy the space while safely distanced. Look out for 16 new trees freshly planted by the Discover Tanjong Pagar pilot Business Improvement District as well, with more to be planted around the district in the coming years! Find out more Conserve Built Heritage A building that tells stories The Queenstown Public Library has been popular with the community since it first opened its doors in 1970, and today this conserved building is distinctive for its bow-tie-shaped roof and lattice patterned screen walls.
