GREAT BARRIER REEF CRUISES
CRUISE WHITSUNDAYS GREAT BARRIER REEF CRUISE
This is a full day trip by catamaran to the Reefworld Pontoon located on Hardy’s Reef as part of the outer
Great Barrier Reef.
The tour includes
Approximately 4 hours at the Reefworld Pontoon including morning and afternoon tea, buffet lunch,
snorkelling equipment, semi submersible tour, underwater viewing chamber and Waterslide! There is
even a licensed bar on board, as well as change rooms and toilet facilities.
Optional Extras
Scuba Diving: If you decide on the day that you would like to dive, you can organise your dive onboard the
vessel on the way out to the reef.
Resort divers are to fill out a medical questionnaire to ensure general fitness. All resort divers over 55
years of age will require a medical certificate stating they are fit to dive; this must be completed before
they leave for the cruise. Minimum age for scuba is 12 years.
Whitsunday Air Joy flight: The Joy flight is a ten minute scenic by helicopter over Heart Reef. This can be
arranged on the boat ride out to the reef dependent on availability for the day. From $125pp.
Marine Biologist: If you would like a deeper understanding of what you are seeing, take our guided
snorkelling ‘reef safari’. From $45pp.

SCENIC FLIGHTS
FLY/CRUISE OR CRUISE/FLY- REEFWORLD
Experience the Great Barrier Reef from above and below with this unique fly and cruise option to
Reefworld. Enjoy a one way helicopter flight with scenic views of Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet and Heart
Reef, before spending 2.5hrs hours at the Reefworld pontoon where your snorkelling gear and all
Reefworld facilities can be accessed, such as the glass bottom semi-submersible submarine or underwater
viewing chamber. A delicious buffet lunch is also provided. A one way cruise aboard the luxury Cruise

RENEGADE FISHING CHARTERS
This is a tour more for the serious angler, setting out on a boat fully rigged for some serious fishing! This
includes a combination of trawling and bottom fishing, and superb local knowledge almost guarantees you
not only a great day but also something for dinner! Half-day and full-day charters include all your bait and
equipment as well as their expert guidance. If you would like alcohol, soft drinks or food feel free to bring
along some of your own. Lunch is only supplied on a full day. Coral Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Giant
Trevally, Sailfish and Red Emperor are just some of the fish they catch. Private Charters can be arranged.

Levante Fishing Charters
Levante is Hamilton Island’s premium fishing charter company, with a full range of rods, reels and tackle
ranging from 15kg – 60kg (including fighting chair) allowing you to target whatever species of fish you may
come across. Fishing the fish is aided by a ‘state of the art’ electronics package installed in 2012 which
includes CHIRP sounder and searchlight sonar. Offering share and private charters, including lunch and
refreshments your day with include trolling for Spanish Mackerel, Giant Trevally and Yellow fin tuna, and
bottom fishing for various fish including Coral Trout, Red and Spangled Emperor and Nannygai. Private
charters can be tailored to match your individual fishing requirements, including targeting Sailfish and
Marlin at certain times of the year.

HAMILTON ISLAND GOLF CLUB – DENT ISLAND
Designed by five-time British Open winner Peter Thomson, it is the only championship course in Australia
on its own island. The par 71, 18-hole course is on par with Australia’s top golfing destinations for its

Island course will challenge and delight weekend golfers and professionals alike.

Set over the beautiful Palm Valley lake, test your short or long driving skills while aiming for various

JETSKI TOURS
Enjoy a thrilling ride around Hamilton Island for a full hour, following an experienced instructor but driving
the ski yourself. Have a Ski to yourself, or take a passenger with you for an additional $39.00. At various
spots on the island you will stop to hear some island history or try to spot some turtles in the bay. So
much fun! Drivers must be over 18 years old and passengers must be over 10 years old.

BEACH SPORTS
There’s much more to a beach holiday on Hamilton Island than relaxing by the water. Hire a paddleboard,
windsurfer, catamaran or surf ski and get out on the water at beautiful Catseye Beach.

DINGHY HIRE
Fish, Swim, Explore, Relax the choice is yours when you hire a 4.5m motorised dinghy. You can hire the
boat for a half or full day. The price includes the boat, petrol and life jackets for a max of 6 persons on
board. No license or experience required. Min age of driver is 18 years with a $250 deposit per boat.

SEA KAYAKING HALF DAY ADVENTURE PADDLE
This is a fantastic half day introduction to sea kayaking. Enjoy an hour of easy paddling then stop at a
secluded beach for some relaxation, beach combing and a snack. Depending on the tides, the tour may
take you to a beach where the rainforest comes right down to the water’s edge on Whitsunday Island, or
maybe visit Dent Island for some snorkelling over fantastic coral. This tour includes all kayaking
equipment, snorkelling equipment as well as morning refreshments.

SEA KAYAKING SUNSET PADDLE
This tour is designed to show off the sunset to its best advantage. Enjoy one of the beautiful Hamilton
Island sunsets whilst sipping on a glass of sparkling wine, relaxing in a sea kayak. This tour is a more
relaxed style of paddling. Inclusions are all kayaking equipment and a glass of sparkling wine.

This tour is similar to the above but instead of highlighting the beautiful sunset, it focuses on the beauty of
the full moon. Inclusions are all kayaking equipment and the unique opportunity to paddle in the
moonlight. They only run when there is a full moon so book early to avoid disappointment.

Have you ever tried sailing? How about hanging out on trapeze? No? Well Adrenalin Rush is for you! This
new high speed Nacra 36 FT Catamaran is the ideal way to get your adrenalin fix. This activity thrives on

A fun easy way to see the island from the air, and no experience needed. This involves a speedboat ride

Hamilton Island offers a 9 pin Kegal Bowling centre. This ‘all-weather’ activity is the perfect family activity
suiting children as young as three as it offers a variety of games to play – rather than just aiming to knock
down all the pins. Lanes cater for up to 6 people and payment is made per lane for a scheduled amount of
time. Why not play after dinner! After dark the bowling centre transforms with glow in the dark pins, lanes
and balls. The air-conditioned centre has seven lanes, an amusement arcade and a fully licensed bar with
