White Sulphur Springs is Officers' Christian
Fellowship's eastern conference center
located in the foothills of the Allegheny
Mountains near Bedford, Pennsylvania. We
seek to be a caring Christian retreat center,
set apart to provide an environment where
our guests can be refreshed, challenged, and
strengthened in their Christian faith and
relationships. God is equipping our guests to
return to their military or civilian comm-
unities as ambassadors for Christ, prepared
to “step out” in faith for His glory.

GROUP RETREATS
While White Sulphur Springs primarily serves to host programming for military families
throughout the summer and Christmas seasons, we also serve as a retreat and conference center
for a variety of ministries, many of which are connected to the military. Churches and chapels
regularly choose the Springs as their retreat destination for men’s, women’s, marriage, or
family retreats. WSS is also ideal for youth groups, leadership teams, and singles groups.
Community organizations, historical societies, hobby groups, and businesses have found our
facilities to be a perfect location for their retreat and meeting needs.
No matter the size or nature of a retreat group, we seek to provide an experience uniquely
tailored to the goals of each retreat. We offer special events and activities like horseback rides,
campfires, and high ropes challenge courses, all located around our 1,000-acre property. Our
Heritage House and Harrison House hotel buildings feature large meeting rooms with smaller
areas for breakout sessions, allowing us to host groups of 10-200 guests depending on the
makeup of the group. Groups of 10-30 guests are welcome to book a weekend when other smaller
groups are already booked.

LOCATION
Located in the tranquil Allegheny Mountain region, White Sulphur Springs boasts a convenient
location for groups in the Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C., and Baltimore areas. Our location allows
us to provide a convenient site for groups consisting of guests coming from various places.

HOTELS & MEETING SPACES
Two facilities are available for group retreats throughout the year—Heritage House and
Harrison House. While groups typically stay in one of these two facilities for the duration of a
group retreat, larger groups may spend their weekend in both hotels if space allows.
Heritage House, completed in 2011, is a great fit for groups of up to 200 attendees. Within this
building, groups can utilize a main meeting room, the Pettijohn Room, as well as three lounge-
style gathering areas and four classroom-style breakout rooms. Our 200-person dining room
offers coffee, tea, and toast bars, and our staff stocks a fruit & yogurt bar during breakfast and a
full salad bar during lunch and dinner, and all retreat meals are provided by our Heritage kitchen
staff. Guests may also take advantage of Heritage's gym and game room. Heritage House
contains 44 guestrooms that each contain one queen bed, a sleeper sofa, and two twins or a bunk
set, and two additional bunkrooms can each accommodate eight people.

Harrison House
HOTELS & MEETING SPACES
Originally built in 1884, Harrison House served as a rural Allegheny Mountain resort until OCF
purchased it in 1978 and turned it into a retreat and conference center. Located a 10-minute walk
away from Heritage House, our recently renovated Harrison House can host up to 80 guests
depending on the makeup of the group. Harrison is the ideal lodging option for groups who want
more flexibility for their mealtimes. By staying in Harrison, groups may choose to cook some or
all of their meals in the building's kitchen and/or enjoy meals offered in the Heritage House
dining room. Harrison House’s meeting room and dining room can each hold up to 80 people,
and a museum, library, and living room with a fireplace can also be found on the main floor.
Guests can stay in one of Harrison’s 39 various guestrooms, most of which are arranged as suites
with shared bathrooms and can hold between one and four guests.
Other facilities around our 1,000-acre property include our horse barn, where we care for our 11
stallions and two miniature horses and run our indoor climbing loft. Fort Cochran, a log house
built in the 1950s and equipped with a wood-burning fireplace, provides a cozy venue for events
ranging from Bible studies to square dances.

MEALS
We believe relationships grow while enjoying a meal together, so we seek to provide a dining
experience that supports connection with others. Groups utilizing Heritage House’s 200-person
dining room receive meals provided by our kitchen staff. Coffee, tea, and toast bars are available
between meals, and our staff stocks a fruit & yogurt bar during breakfast and a full salad bar
during lunch and dinner. Groups staying in the Harrison House have the freedom to cook their
own meals in Harrison’s commercial kitchen, come to Heritage House for meals, or a
combination of the two options.
Delicious “all-you-can-eat” meals, such as the sample menu below, are prepared and served in
our Heritage House dining room, with standard mealtimes as follows: 8 a.m. breakfast, 12:30
p.m. lunch, and 6 p.m. dinner.
The following items are always available free of charge to accommodate guests with food
allergies: fruit & yogurt bar during breakfast, protein substitutes at the salad bar during lunch
and dinner, and gluten-free bread and dairy-free milk at all meals. Additionally, special menus
are available for an additional fee for guests with the following dietary preferences/allergies:
gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, vegetarian, or vegan. Guests may store personal food in a
separate refrigerator and use the microwave in the dining room.

ACTIVITIES
In addition to free activities like playing at our disc golf course and rocking the afternoon away
on our porches, we offer activities for groups to add to their retreat package. To view the rest of

2021 RATES
We offer retreat packages based on the number of nights and meals a group desires for their stay.
Please note that we do not offer retreat packages without meals for Heritage House.
In addition to these individual rates, we charge an $8/person facility fee that covers the group's
use of the meeting spaces and facilities. If a group stays in Harrison and wishes to use the
kitchen facility to prepare meals, the facility fee will instead be $13/person. Individual rates for
various retreat packages in our two facilities are as follows:

Discounts may be available depending on the group type and timing of the retreat. Please contact
us to determine if your group is eligible for a discount and request a customized rate. We can book
retreats up to a year in advance, and retreat coordinators may schedule a site visit to tour the
property and enjoy a free one-night stay in one of our guestrooms.
