DAS UNTERNEHMEN The family-owned Granula Polymer GmbH in Groß-Umstadt, Germany, was founded in 1996 and is focussed on the development and distribution of customized masterbatches and cleaning granulates. Masterbatches are plastic based concentrates with tailored physical and chemical properties, available on the basis of polyamides, polyolefines, thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) and specialized polymers. Electric conductivity, customized coloring or surface quality are just a few examples of possible solutions. The granulates can be processed via extrusion (sheet or profile), injection molding, compounding or compaction, depending on your application. The products are widely applied in the automotive, electronic, household and consumer goods sector. Due to our chemical know-how you profit from an individual consulting taking into account your specific require- ments. Furthermore, patented, ready-mix cleaning granulates for the cleaning of extrusion and injection molding machines are available. Due to customized cleaning granulates, even a fully automatic, online cleaning process with robotic parts removal is easily possible and saves costs, time and valuable raw materials. Electrically conductive thermoplastics have been firmly established in the company since it
was founded in 1996: The ISO-certified family business has specialized in powder-coatable
plastics since the beginning. In this case, the electrical conductivity of the plastic parts is used
to make powder coatings adhere to the part in the tunnel kiln and to burn them in. Powder-
coated plastic parts have many advantages: Their strong resistance to weathering makes
them very durable and thus sustainable.
In the meantime, the field of application of the electrically conductive, thermoplastic granules
from Granula Polymer GmbH, available under the EXL SERIES product group, has expanded
massively: The conductivity is now also used in the automotive, household and even textile
industries.
By diluting highly conductive masterbatches, specific antistatic properties can be obtained in
the resulting plastic part.
A surface conductivity of 7 Ohm cm, for example in the TPE sector, is something we have been

Je nach Kundenwunsch können wir die elektrische Leitfähigkeit auf die Endanwendung
anpassen:
Basispolymere wie beispielsweise Polyamide (PPA, PA6, PA66, PA12), Polyolefine,
thermoplastische Elastomere (TPE), ABS, Polyester und Polyalkohole (EVA) können wir mit
Leitrußen, Carbon Nanotubes, Grafit, Kupfer und Gemischen ausstatten.
Selbst hochgefüllte Kupferbatches, erhältlich unter dem Namen GranaFox, sind für
verschiedene Anwendungen bereits etabliert. Die Granulate können mittels Spritzguss zu Teilen
verarbeitet werden. Dies erspart umfangreiche Bearbeitungsschritte, wie beispielsweise Sintern,
Schraub-, Feil-, Fräsprozesse oder Löten von herkömmlichen Metallteilen.

Depending on the customer's requirements, we can adapt the electrical conductivity to the
end application:
Base polymers such as polyamides (PPA, PA6, PA66, PA12), polyolefins, thermoplastic
elastomers (TPE), ABS, polyesters and polyalcohols (EVA) can be equipped with conductive
carbon blacks, carbon nanotubes, graphite, copper and mixtures.
Even highly filled copper batches, available under the name GranaFox, are already
established for various applications. The granulates can be processed into parts by injection
molding. This saves extensive processing steps, such as sintering, screwing, filing, milling
