Let Us Help You! “ I transferred to Glendon from one of the big university campuses in Toronto in part because that big impersonal environment wasn’t meant for me. I needed a personal approach within my academics, and that’s exactly what Glendon is about! Admission Requirements “ When I came to Canada as an international student, at first everything was very intimidating. The college I started at when I first arrived was huge and there were around 100 to 200 students in all my classes. It was very hard to make friends and the professors were more focused on delivering their lectures rather than their students. When I transferred to Glendon, however, the small class sizes allowed me to build a connection with my professors. They knew my academic achievements and were always ready to help. It was easier to make friends and I really felt like I was part of a community!” – Ameidy Perumal Mature Students: Requirements: You are considered a mature student if you: • Meet the language requirements. • W ill be at least 20 years old by the end of the • Submission of a Resumé. calendar year of admission to the University; • L etter outlining your activities since completing • H ave been out of full-time high school studies your studies (e.g. work, traveling, family for at least two years or have returned to upgrade responsibilities), including: after a two-year absence; or • your reasons for wanting to attend university; • your future career goals; • H ave attempted less than one full year of studies • skills and activities that have prepared at an accredited college or university; you for success at university, including • H ave a favourable academic record and have work or volunteer experience, professional demonstrated potential for success through development activities, personal study and academic, professional or volunteer activities, interests; and other accomplishments. • explanations/documentation for any previous poor academic performance.
