CROOKSTON COMMUNITY POOL The Crookston Community Pool is run by the City of Crookston. It is located at 320 E. 4th Street near Central Park. Visit www.crookstonpool.com for swimming schedule! Winter Wellness Swimming For ages 7-18 who have the ability to swim 1 length of the pool. This program allows kids to improve their swimming ability. It will focus on stroke development in a teaching environment. Taught by our very own Pirate Swimmers. Starts first week of December and goes through January. 5th & 6th GRADE TACKLE FOOTBALL This is a travel team for kids going into 5th & 6th grade this fall. Parents are responsible for transportation to games. Register online at www.usahockey.com. Cost range from $15-$80 depending on players age. USA/MN Hockey provides the insurance, which makes playing competitive games possible. When online registration is complete, you will receive a USA Hockey number – bring this number to Park & Rec offices to complete the registration. Crookston Blue Line Club registration – Annual fee of $80/family before Sept. 1st, $100 after Sept 1st. Register online www.crookstonbluelinehockey.com. Raffle tickets per family are $200 per booklet at the time of registration. Raffle tickets will be dispersed at parent meeting or can be picked up from Kristy Swanson, Exec Director of the BLC. The Crookston Blue Line Club was established to provide financial backing for the development of youth hockey. Each year, the BLC pays for tournament entry fees, sanctioning fees for all teams, and Parks & Rec scholarships and registration fees for Mini Mite levels. There is free equipment rental (except skates & sticks) for mini mite & mite 3/8U, and other equipment available for rent for all levels (if available).

FIGURE SKATING All returning skaters should sign up for the class in which they participated in during the 2022 Ice Show. We will assess skaters in November and will be determined at that time which class the skater will participate in for the remainder of the season. All figure skating starts Monday, November 7th, 2022. The Ice Show will be March 11th & 12th! Moms Pops & Tots Introductory lessons for children age 2 to 4, along with help with their parents. When: Wednesday 6-6:45 pm Coaches: TBD Cost: $100 Crookston Figure Skating Club Fee: $60 All skaters Basic 1 and above need to pay CFSC fee. It is an additional fee that covers Learn to Skate, USFSA, and costume rentals. Please bring this fee to Crookston Parks & Rec or Erica Uttermark. Parents should not pay for Learn to Skate Membership. That will be paid by Crookston Figure Skating Club. Basic Lessons: Basic All basic lessons will be 45 minutes long. We will be following USFSA Guidelines. All skaters will have the opportunity to skate with coaches and be placed in the appropriate group according to USFSA guidelines.
