September 2019 | newsletter From the Chairman… Hello Devon YFC! The year is going by so quickly and AGM season is now upon us! I look forward to seeing many Clubs and Groups at their forthcoming AGMs. You will find in your mailings a nomination form from the 2019/2020 County Officer’s team. Please discuss this at your meetings and think carefully about whom you want representing you and the rest of Devon YFC at a County, Area and National level. The deadline for these nomination forms is the 16th of September, so remember to get them into the office by then! Once again the Rally season has been and gone so congratulations to all Groups for putting together successful YFC tents at their Rallies and Local Shows. A well done is also required to the many Clubs that have also worked hard on their own tents at their Local Shows. They are all a fantastic showcase of what YFC has to offer. I have been lucky enough to have judged at Exe Valley, East Devon and Haldon’s rallies, so thank you so much for having me! If you’ve been along to the Rural Hub recently, you may have noticed that our decking has had a facelift! A huge thank you to the members of Cheriton & Tedburn YFC who spent time pressure washing the decking and also to the many members from Haldon Group who spent two evenings staining it!
