Factory Wing Removal 1) From the inside of the deck lid, remove the four (4) wing retaining nuts and save for reuse. The wing is also held on with double sided tape and will not fall free yet. 2) Remove the four (4) studs using an inverted Torx socket and save for reuse. 3) Protect the top of the quarter panel under each end of the factory wing with blankets or towels to prevent damage from contact with the wing as it is removed. 4) Break the wing (tape) free of the deck lid. Clean off any remaining tape residue from the deck lid. Deck Lid Modification 1) Place one of the carbon fiber mounting bases on the deck lid aligning the second and third holes in the base with the factory holes in the deck lid. 1305-R03030121-AA Page 4 of 10 1-800-59-ROUSH
2) Measure the distance from the edge of the base to the nearest edge of the deck lid at the front and rear of the base. Adjust the location of the base so that the measurement is equal at the front and rear aligned with the factory holes. Mark the location of the forward hole for drilling. Repeat for the opposite side. Mark this hole Equal distance from edge Align this hole 3) Drill 5/16” holes where marked. 4) Protect the bare metal in the holes you drilled with touch-up paint or similar to prevent corrosion. 1305-R03030121-AA Page 5 of 10 1-800-59-ROUSH
Assembly of the Roush Wing Note: When installed, the ends of the wing will sweep forward. The concave edge of the wing is referred to as forward and the convex edge as rear. 1) Place a blanket or towels over a table to prevent damage to the wing. Place the wing on the table, bottom side up (threaded inserts facing up). 2) Place a rubber upper pedestal gasket over one pair of the mounting inserts with the short end of the gasket facing forward. 1305-R03030121-AA Page 6 of 10 1-800-59-ROUSH
3) Position one of the Black Aluminum Upper Pedestals over the gaskets with the long leg of the pedestal towards the rear of the wing and the slotted side of the bolt recess facing the center of the wing. Hand start two(2) M6 bolts. Carefully position the gasket to be centered under the pedestal and tighten using the supplied 4mm hex key to 5 Nm (44 lb-in). Long leg towards Slotted recess towards rear of wing center of wing 4) Install a supplied M6 stud into the first hole in the one of the Black Aluminum Lower Pedestals and snug using the supplied 3mm wrench. Install two (2) of the take-off wing studs into the 2nd and 3rd holes and snug using an E6 Torx socket. Forward 5th 4th 3rd 2nd 1st Note: Included in the kit are enough studs, nuts and washers to use on the lower base instead of reusing the factory takeout studs and nuts if you prefer to keep all the fasteners the same. 1305-R03030121-AA Page 7 of 10 1-800-59-ROUSH
5) Install the lower pedestal to the upper pedestal using a supplied M8 bolt and M8 Nylock Nut. Tighten the bolt only until slightly snug. The nut will lock it in place, allowing the lower pedestal to swivel in the assembly. 6) Install the Adjustable Rod using two (2) more M8 bolts and 8mm Nylok Nuts. Again, tighten the bolt only until slightly snug to allow the brackets to move when adjusted. Adjust the length of the rods for desired downforce. The recommended Roush setting is 118mm across the centers of the adjuster mounting bolts. 7) Repeat the procedure for other pedestal. 1305-R03030121-AA Page 8 of 10 1-800-59-ROUSH

It may be necessary to push the pedestals inward or outward to align the studs with the holes. 5) While holding the wing in place and with a factory take off “wing” nut in hand, lift the deck lid slightly and reach in and start a nut on one stud on each side of the deck lid. 6) With the wing secured with at least 2 hand started nuts, open the deck lid and install the remaining two (2) take off nuts onto the factory take off studs, and M6 Washers and M6 Nylock Nuts over the supplied studs. . 7) Recheck wing, base plate, and gasket alignment and then tighten all six base nuts to 5 Nm (44 lb- in). 1305-R03030121-AA Page 9 of 10 1-800-59-ROUSH
