Hello and welcome to February’s Jet. I can’t believe it is nearly Spring already, where do the
months go? At least we can start looking forward to lighter nights and some warm sunshine.
Our cover this month is of ‘The Barn’ at Willey. I Love this place, it is very unique as it has its
own brewery which you can see inside through the glass windows. They brew some
wonderful beers that can be sampled at the bar. So take my advice and get yourselves to the
Barn.
Bookings are advisable if you want to be certain of a table.
We have launched our new leaflet service ‘Jet Flyers’ and teamed up with distributors
throughout Leicestershire, Northants and Warwickshire, so if you are planning an advertising

Gordon Banks
We couldn't print this months issue without remembering the legendary Gordon Banks who
sadly passed away earlier this month. He will be always remembered for "that save" against
Pele and Brazil in the 1970 World Cup
I can remember Gordon well as he lived but a few doors away from me when he was playing
for Leicester City. We often played outside of his house when we were very young children,
and indeed tested him a few times with some well timed shots into his gateway, needless to
say he always saved them. But what I remember most was that he always had time to talk to
us, sign autographs and
give us tips about football!
Gordon was not only a
great goalkeeper, but also a
lovely genuine human
being who will be sadly
missed but most definitely
never forgotten.

Well, it is a group of therapeutic disciplines that are used along side conventional medicine. These are a 'natural' therapy, in that they don't involve drugs or surgery. Practitioners who are committed to high standards choose to join an accredited register and regularly take part in ongoing training and development. So if you have a health condition which your doctor is helping you with, but feel that a complementary therapy might help also, then do a little research, make a few enquiries and see if your well being can be enhanced naturally.
