Glen Coe & Oban
We take the scenic route to Oban today, with a drive through
Scotland’s most dramatic scenery, over Rannoch Moor and down
through Glen Coe. We stop to admire the views before taking a
leisurely drive along the coast to Oban. Here there will be time
for lunch and to explore shops, cafes and attractions in the west
coast’s main town. We return to the hotel via Loch Etive, Loch Awe
and Glen Lochy to complete a memorable day around the best of
Scotland’s west coast and Highland region.
Loch Tay and Pitlochry (6-day tour only)
Today we head east, traversing the heart of Scotland from the
pretty village of Killin and along the shores of Loch Tay to arrive at
Pitlochry. This ever-popular Highland Perthshire town is certainly
one of the most beautiful and vibrant places to visit in Scotland and
there is lots to see and do. Away from the centre there a lovely walks
along the River Tummel and the autumn colours are wonderful.
