Holiday Make & Take
The Holidays are a wonderful time to celebrate old traditions and make new memories. What better way to
remember this year’s festivities than to spend a December afternoon making unique arts and crafts with the whole
family! CSA’s Holiday Make and Take Family Workshop is a place to laugh, play, and get creative with both
traditional and experimental art projects. Make Christmas tree ornaments out of recycled plastic that will astound
and amaze. Design a snowflake mobile that would look right at home in a magical ice castle. Decorate a
cardboard Gingerbread Man to look like Dear Old Dad, or make Mom a special corsage of paper poinsettias she
can wear on Christmas morning. Looking for a unique gift for the grandparents? This is your chance to make
something memorable without all the worry and mess of turning your kitchen into an art studio. All materials and
holiday treats will be provided. Hosted by Caroline Tippette and Jason Watson.

Provide high quality arts experiences for teens
Engage teens in projects that foster creativity, critical thinking, and social responsibility
Increase students’ access and exposure to enrichment, education, and employment opportunities
Prepare youth to be active, responsible, and self-sufficient citizens after high school graduation

Meals, Minds, and Movement
This is a year long series of conversations designed to build community though increasing understanding.
The project is open to all teens (14 years and older) and adults. We will come together monthly to share a
meal and our perspectives about a “tough to talk about” issue in an effort to learn and grow from each other.
The project will culminate in a community created mural on a large stretch of fence on Matheson Avenue
donated generously by a neighbor. Please join us for one or all! RSVP to info@behailu.org to confirm

Colby. Why doesn’t he have an iPod like the other boys on the bus? And why do
