If you don’t have a card, make sure to sign up! This year’s national hon- orary chairperson is Mar- ley Dias, founder of #1000BlackGirlBooks. She has collected and donated over 13,000 books featuring black girls as the main character. Many of these books are available through the Lawrenceburg Public Li- brary District. A list is available at the Lawrence- burg Main Library and North Dearborn Branch. In addition to all the great books, music, audiobooks and much more your li- brary card always offers you, during September you can also show your LPLD library card for dis- counts!
