Mayor Mgenge then led Councillors, Senior Managers and the media representatives to Mr Alson Mthethwa’s home at the Nxebeni area in Dondotha, to hand over a wheelchair and groceries. The Municipality had previously handed over a brand new four-room house to Mr Mthethwa. Mr Mthethwa welcomed the Municipality’s assistance and thanked Mayor Mgenge for making it a priority to assist people living with disabilities. “The uMfolozi Municipality has been kind to me and assisted me to be able to live a comfortable life so I can be able to focus on my small business,” said Mr Mthethwa.
