Dubai Gold Souk, located in the commercial district, is a traditional market, consisting of more than 380 retail- ers in narrow lanes with sparkling jewelry all around. Day 4 Monday October 25 Sharjah City Tour After breakfast at the hotel depart for your Sharjah City Tour. Historically, Sharjah was one of the wealthiest towns in the region. It was the most important port on the lower Arabian Gulf from the time of the early trading with the East into the first half of the 19th century. Alongside fishing and trading, the lion's share of the city's wealth rested on its pearling indus- try, which lasted into the late 1940's. The first international airport on this coast was also established in Sharjah in 1932, predating the formation of the Federation of the UAE by nearly four decades. • Visit the Museum of Islamic Civilization which started its life as a traditional Middle Eastern souk or indoor market. The building now houses more than 5,000 exquisite artifacts from all over the Islamic world, and hosts regular exhibitions and internationally renowned displays of Islamic masterpieces. • Al Naboodah House, a restored pearl merchant's house and museum. • The Central Blue Souq, open since 1979, is the most famous souq in Sharjah. La Mer Beach brings these incredible taste offerings together to create a real foodie paradise. From French delicacies to gourmet Mediterranean, authentic Indian to urban Japanese dishes, La Mer will spoil you with all the choices! We will continue the day with an unique visit to the camel race club. Camel racing is an integral part of the khaleeji culture and there has been a significant increase in the number of tourists to the races. The Heritage Village was set up for visitors to explore the Emirati way of life through handicrafts, cuisine, mock weddings, and music. This year, around a hundred small shops and kiosks are being organized to recreate a carnival like setting in addition to traditional dance shows from Oman, India and Africa. Day 6 Wednesday, October 27 ~ Dubai Relax at the Pool This morning is at leisure; you may wish to enjoy some relaxation at the pool. Lunch is at Burj Al Arab, the most luxurious hotel in the world! Return to the hotel after lunch. You may wish to go skiing this afternoon at the Mall of the Emirates!! (Yes, indoor skiing!!) This evening attend a performance of La Perle with dinner. You have never really been to the Middle East until you’ve done the signature Desert Safari. Nothing beats a firsthand experience of coasting through the sand dunes of Arabia. This afternoon a luxury 4x4 vehicle will pick you up from the hotel and take you straight to the desert. Brace yourself for an hour-long exhilarating dune-bashing experience! Step out of the vehicle and soak in the grandeur of the golden desert sunset. Test your balance and try sandboarding--sliding down a slope of sand can really be fun!! Day 11 Monday November 1 EXPO 2020 and transfer to Abu Dhabi After breakfast at the hotel, depart for your second day at EXPO 2020. Day 13 Wednesday November 3 ~ Abu Dhabi: Falcons, Art and Yachts! After breakfast, depart hotel for the Falcon Hospital. Annually, around 11,000 falcons are received for examinations and treatment. Since its inception, the Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital has emerged as one of the most reputed falcon hospitals in the Gulf region and as the largest falcon hospital in the world and as a leading center for falcon medicine world-wide. Over the years, the ADFH has established a loyal and a wide patient-base not just in the UAE, but also in countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain.
