About IIM Amritsar Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Amritsar is the 15th IIM set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development with the support of the Government of Punjab. Being located in Amritsar, the land of the Golden Temple and Wagah Border, the Institute benefits from the enriching experience offered by this holy city. The Institute is currently run in the Punjab Institute of Technology Building, 5 km away from the railway station and 10 km from the airport. Its permanent campus is being constructed about 7 km from the ISBT and 8.5 km from the railway station, making it easily accessible. IIM Amritsar, at present, offers a two-year full-time Master in Business Administration. This program provides world-class management education to meet organizations' requirements across sectors by producing highly insightful management professionals. Owing to its unwavering allegiance to providing exemplary education, IIM Amritsar has established itself as the vanguard of quality education and learning in a short span of time. The Institute follows the same pedagogy as the other members of the prestigious IIM fraternity. With the state-of-the-art infrastructure, IIM Amritsar provides a nurturing environment for its students to learn and grow. Indian Institute of Management Amritsar is starting the two-year degree
program for working executives (EMBA) from June 2021. This program has
a rigorous curriculum vetted by industry professionals. This program offers
an exciting opportunity to the working professionals to equip themselves
with the requisite skillset and knowledge to accelerate their careers and
transition into leadership roles without a break in their careers. I welcome
the aspiring professionals to avail this opportunity and charter their career
paths to move vertically or laterally in their organizations.
About Program IIM Amritsar invites application for a full-time two-year non-residential Executive MBA program (EMBA 2021-23). This program focuses on a multidisciplinary view of the businesses. This program will be offered in a hybrid model, with two on-campus visits per year intertwined with the virtual classes in a distance learning mode. These classes will be delivered online via video conferencing with an interactive learning management system. The program will be offered over weekends with virtual classes on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The program will be for 750 hours and will have rigorous core and industry-relevant elective courses. By working with the dynamic IIM Amritsar faculty and the diverse pool of professionals in your class, you will learn how to develop strategies for solving complex business problems, creating strong teams, and leading organizational change to sustain competitive advantage. Eligibility Criteria
The Institute focuses on a holistic assessment of interested candidates. The admission criteria specified
below are more to check the candidate's suitability for this rigorous program.
Bachelor's degree in any discipline with consistent academic performance
Minimum 3 years of progressive work experience in a managerial/entrepreneurial/professional role
as of May 2021 after completion of Graduation
The applicant must have a valid CAT/GMAT/GRE score to apply for the program
CAT score validity: Not more than two years old as on 30/5/2021
GATE, GRE, and GMAT score validity: Not more than three years old as on 30/5/2021
Alternatively, the interested candidates can also choose to take the IIM Amritsar Admissions Test
(IAAT). The entrance exam will be conducted online on February 14, 2021.
Selection Process Applicants will be shortlisted based on Shortlisted candidates will be called for their performance in CAT / GMAT / GRE / an online Personal Interview (PI). The GATE / IAAT as specified by the candidate, interview panel will evaluate the consistent past academic performance, suitability of the candidate for the and progressive work experience program and their leadership potential credentials for handling large teams and projects

their interest and areas of specializations. The electives will be from the
domain of HR, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Analytics and
Enterprenuership.

Program Fee
INR 9.5 Lakhs
The fee is payable in six installments before the commencement of each term
Fee includes tuition, books, course material, and other library and membership facilities to various
clubs and committees at IIM Amritsar. The program fee is subject to change every year.
International Immersion cost to be paid separately by interested participants
Sponsored Candidates: IIM Amritsar welcomes candidates (individuals or groups) from
organizations looking to prepare their managers for leadership positions. The Human Resource and
the Learning and Development teams are encouraged to contact the Executive Education office for
further details.

The deadline for submitting the completed application is January 31, 2021
A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1500/- is to be submitted along with the completed
application form
Candidates opting to appear for IIM Amritsar Admission Test (IAAT-2021) will have to pay a non-
refundable fee of Rs. 1000/- in addition to the application fee. This online IAAT Test to be held on
February 14, 2021
The fee can be paid electronically via the payment link given on the website.
